My wife and I stayed at the hotel and loved every second of our stay. The hotel is ideally situated for the Victoria Falls and is situated within the national park so you see giraffes, impala’s, monkeys and zebra’s around the grounds.
The staff are very attentive, our butler Kennedy was always on hand to assist us. Other members of staff such as Chola, Dorothy and Lupendo made our stay memorable and pleasant and we can’t wait to return for our next visit.

The Hotel and Grounds are just beautiful, the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, the manager Sylvia was just so friendly and hands on herself, I just was impressed by her pleasant attitude. I was gutted I had to leave. What a special place.

Schon die Begrüßung war herzerfrischend. Ein Chor gab uns ein Willkommensständchen und dann bekamen wir ein Erfrischungsgetränk und eine Minimassage. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss, von wo aus wir direkt in den Hotelpark am Zambesi gehen konnten. Dieser ist bevölkert von Giraffen, Zebras, Impalas und Äffchen. Es ist wirklich märchenhaft. Unser Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Uns gefiel dieser Kolonialstil sehr. Auch die Mahlzeiten ließen keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück ist unfassbar vielfältig und am Abend lässt es sich wunderbar am Fluss dinieren. Ein Absacker an der Bar ist durchaus empfehlenswert! Nicht zu vergessen ist das äußerst liebenwürdige, herzliche Personal, das und das Gefühl gab wirklich willkommen zu sein. Last but not least: Die Lage direkt an den Victoria Fällen ist grenzgenial!

I was personally very impressed with my stay at Royal Livingstone and i cant wait to go back there sooner than later. Everything was so impressive compared to hotels i v travelled to within Zambia and outside. Ambience, Cleanliness, Quietness, the nature, the wild animals etc.

Our family of 4 adults really enjoyed this beautiful hotel, it was one of the highlights of our trip! There are plenty of staff and they are willing to help and almost always provide friendly greetings. Service was overall quite good. The food was wonderful (we ate at Kubu, The Old Drift and the Travellers Bar). We spent time in the pool and received quick drink service there also (they don't serve food there due to monkeys). The photos of the resort are quite accurate - the animals are plentiful and it is quite a delight to see them walking around. The rooms area little smaller than some similar resorts although are well appointed with several small wonderful touches. The bathrooms are adequate though for a resort of this calibre and price point, they could do with a renovation. Our only comment would be the music played throughout the resort was early 2000's North American pop music. While familiar to all of us, we would have really enjoyed to hear some African music of any genre - pop, folk, etc. instead. Overall though, would recommend!
