There was a free airport pick-up, which was very useful. It is a famous youth hostel in the local area, with many white people. The environment is good, but there is no WiFi in the room! You can only use the public WiFi near the front desk, and the speed is only a few kb... That's all, there are so many mosquitoes at night! If you don't drive them away for a second, your body will become a mosquito landing pad. I haven't slept in a mosquito net for many years...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It's one of the best I've stayed at. The people were friendly, both staff and other guests. There were plenty of activities to do together so I could really get to know other people. They were from many countries and everyone was curious about one another. It was safe walking around Livingstone downtown which was only 2 blocks away. The museum was one block away. Trips to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe were complicated because of customs, but the staff were very helpful. In Botswanna as well. Food and drinks were easy. Because of a mistake, I paid for something twice and it was easily refunded.

We stayed in Jollyboys as part of a school trip and were well taken care of! The communication with Jollyboys was fantastic and they took care of organizing our overnight Safari & we were so impressed with the organization of this! Rooms were clean and welcoming. Food was great and staff were helpful. Students loved the pool/ common area. Great Stay Overall.

We recently stayed at Jolly Boys Backpackers and had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Clean rooms, tasty food, and just an all-around great vibe. Perfect spot to relax and meet fellow travelers. We would highly recommend!

Jollyboys was the first hostel in Livingstone which I can appreciate.
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing, Moyo, Mallias, George to name a few. Those people are gems. Thank you to the staff for also arranging my activities and ensuring that I explored Livingstone. The restaurant had great food and a nice vibe during the day.
Cons: The WiFi does not reach the rooms. I booked a private room and yet I could only use the WiFi when I was in the common areas, this was highly inconvenient. The bathrooms need help. Between the showers, and the actual toilets you could tell that it was all old and could do with a facelift.
My overall stay at Jollyboys was okay.
