TRAVELODGE LIVINGSTON LIVINGSTON

The hotel was in a good location for what we had to do. Had stayed in travelodge before but never had this bad of a time. Most of the time the reception was not manned and four separate times our keycard didn’t work and we had to get it reset. We stayed for 2 nights! When we got to the hotel it was fine. Nothing crazy to say. However when we started going upstairs there were ceiling panels off the roof, exposing the inner parts, which made the hotel look horrible. There was mould on the hallway ceiling which made the hotel feel dirty. The worst part, there was an actual turd in our toilet when we first arrived into the room. My partner thought it was me, hence why we didn’t tell reception at the time, and just flushed it away. When he told me, I was disgusted. This either says to me they didn’t clean the bathroom at all, or a cleaner needed the toilet and didn’t flush after themselves. We have photo proof of the roof/mould issues. I have not had an issue with a travelodge before. You typically get what you pay for but this was absolutely not acceptable and we will not be staying in a travelodge ever again.

Everything I needed in a hotel for a couple of nights, and a good location, with a choice of eating places very nearby (and staff happy to review them, which was really handy)

Lovely overnight stay in a big comfortable room. Staff very friendly and always ready to assist (especially the QR code for the car park!)

Brilliant hotel all the staff are happy to help and give advice The hotel was spotless rooms are spotless great parking and easy walk to the centre I like idea that the teas coffee etc are sitting out in reception and you can help yourself

Another successful stay Had to come back after a couple ow weeks as we had more shopping to do Once again excellent clean rooms hotel lovely and clean Staff are fantastic they must be the politest happy to help staff I have come across The manager is lovely as well can't do enough for you and always smiling Can't wait to come back

Fantastic hotel hotel clean and tidy Rooms spotless Sraff are lovely couldn't do enough for you The beds were really comfortable we were in a twin room and as before the beds were so comfy Tea and coffee in reception so you can help yourself.If you need more towels or toilet paper just ask a member of staff from housekeeper to reception staff and they will bring it to your room or there is a top up sign you put out in the morning and you will get these things provided
