From the minute we arrived at the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool - Central and until we left we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Great reception on arrival by Jess, attentive and the warmest of welcomes. As an IHG Diamond member received excellent recognition and enjoyed excellent welcome amenity benefits. The room was a reasonable size on the 6th floor but with no view only of the adjacent building, well designed, sparkling clean with good amenities. Had a great nights sleep, blackout curtains, soundproofed and a very comfortable bed, plush duvet and pillows. Nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries to use, spacious walk-in powerful shower. Holiday Inn Express Liverpool- central shares the building with The Halyard Liverpool a Vignette Collection IHG hotel, we enjoyed having access to The Halyard Bar and Voyagers Restaurant. Holiday Inn Express hotels serve a complimentary express start breakfast also a grab and go option included in the room rate, normally it's just the basics but here it’s the best, the selection was very generous, well presented and high quality. This hotel is excellent value for money, spotless, modern, efficient, with a lovely fresh hot breakfast and a fantastic shower. All the staff should be really proud of the great hospitality they provided. Recommend parking at Mount Pleasant carpark it is less than a 10 minute walk from the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool - Central and costs only £5 per 24 hours. We are looking forward to returning. Clean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.
