Lord Nelson Hotel

Location is great 👍🏼 but room was tired and needs refurbishing, Huge hole in bathroom door where it looks like someone punched it, hotel tried filling it in with filler, looks awful, shower is good 👍🏼 cobwebs everywhere, didn’t really want to have a cup of tea with the kettle provided as it wasn’t very clean. Wall lights have never had a polish and duster near them, and net curtains on window ripped and dirty. Carpet throughout the hotel looked as though its seen better days. Service was ok, for a mid week stay I thought it was quite noisy later on in evening with doors banging etc. Bed was hard and pillows were flat, felt abit nippy so had the heating on most of the night. Probably won’t stay here again unless they have a refurbishment.

This place is a dump. They had our reservation wrong and told us we had no room and that the place was full. Then they magically found one, but it had mold all over it. Then they magically found another room and we just said no thank you. We found another hotel. Just remember that you get what you pay for and this place is very economy. If you want to feel like you are living in a dorm or a frat house, this is the place for you.
