Premier Inn Liverpool City (Albert Dock)

The hotel felt dated. The breakfast was spoilt by the staff not replenishing food fast enough. Toaster wasn't set correctly. Toast either underdone so had to put through twice and ended up burning. The staff on reception were very helpful. The bed was the comfiest we'd slept in for a long time. Location brilliant.

Great location. Read a few bad reviews before arriving so was rather sceptical. The hotel is an old listed building so quite different to the normal Premier Inn’s. But it ticked all the boxes for value for money. Just beware that paying early checkin is subject to availability. We arrived early after a morning flight to get ready for an afternoon graduation and were told we had to wait until room was ready even though my email confirmed I could check in at 11am. Had to look at the small print. Anyway, the receptionist did her best and we got our room around 12. The rooms are fine for what you pay, great comfy beds as usual and we had a lovely view out over Albert Dock. Location is excellent.

Whilst the hotel is in an excellent location with great views of the docks. Unfortunately the room was smelly with no working aircon only traditional fans and opening windows which meant that no fresh air was available. The restaurant food was below average, service slow as only one chef in the kitchen and the breakfast food was of poor quality compared to the many previous Premier Inn's I've stayed in

Awful avoid. Stayed in room 418 dust every where cobwebs on ceiling above bed, shower head back hanging off, door threshold tired and flakey, shower rail ends corroded, grout left on walls, paint speckles on headboard, holes in curtains, dead bugs on ac unit flap, screw holes everywhere, stains on ceiling, dust all over window cill behind curtain when open. Dust all over tv, Outdated and not maintained.
