Premier Inn Liverpool (Roby)

After what happened that day (26th May) it was even more important that the service was what we would expect from Premier Inn - glad to say the lady on reception was a sight for sore eyes. Welcoming, understanding, efficient. Room was great. Beds comfy, shower excellent. The restaurant next door did us a great breakfast too. Why we always use Premier Inn because they are consistent wherever in the country you go. To rob a phrase from an old advert "does exactly what it says on the tin". Comfy bed, decent food - at a price point we can all get on board with. Big thanks to all concerned. Really convenient to get into City centre too. Roby station a 3 minute walk, 4 stops straight into Liverpool Lime Street.

The Receptionist on check in was not in the slightest bit welcoming. Our room was reasonably clean but the bathroom did t feel as clean with mouldy sealant around the shower. We had no shower gel in the bathroom and i hadnt taken any with me as i know Premier Inn usually supllies it. When we asked at reception for it to be topped up we were told very bluntly, they had none, no apology or anything. Our room overlooked the pub garden and it was very noisy at night with people shouting and being sick. Also noisy in the early morning with people shouting in the garden. Breakfast (continental) was good and restaurant staff friendly but the coffee was undrinkable. I won't be staying here again.

Very poor service and staff not that helpful given a dirty room first then moved to a room with a very noisy child above us noisy and up really early every day running around the room and when staff were told were not offered any room move or for staff didn't even talk with the family about the kids

The outside of the property could do with some TLC but once inside everything is to the expected standard of a Premier Inn, staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are good with very comfy beds. Breakfast is also really good and inexpensive for the food on offer.

very friendly and helpful staff. food very good and value for money have stayed here several times and always found it the same car broke down while we were there so had to book another night and was given a complimentary breakfast which they needn`t have done. well done Derby Lodge

Booked 4 x rooms (8 guests) for 2 nights.. location was perfect, parked the cars up and left them there (FOC) then used the train station literally 5 mins away (Roby) to travel in & out of the city (15 mins) & trains frequent.. The Premier Inn does exactly what it says on the tin.. if you want the Ritz then you have to pay for it.. food & drink in Derby lodge was great, breakfast team were amazing both mornings.. Claire on reception was great.. will deffo return Thank You..
