This is an oldish hotel with lots of wear and tear. The A/C unit in our room didn't work well - the hotel staff explained the hotel is need of renovation, including new A/C units. The electrical outlets are quirky too. The nightlight in the bathroom only works when the light switch is on! Same for the electrical outlets in the bathroom, meaning you cannot charge anything without leaving the light on. Other outlets in the room are tied to switches also, so turning off the switch means the outlets are not charging our devices. One wall lamp can only be turned on by plugging it into the electrical outlet - no switch! Of course we learned all this the hard way. When we informed the hotel staff of our room problems we were promised some bonus points on our Hilton account - but those never arrived. Well, you lost a customer.

One of the two elevators was out for the length of my 4 day stay. Normally I would just bound up and down the stairs but i strained a hamstring hiking on my second day, so I had to wait about 5 minutes each time I summoned the elevator shared between 5 floors, cleaning crew, etc. I also had multiple issues with the key cards not working, the back door was broken and never fixed as well. One of the employees told me they have gone through a couple management companies in the last few years so that may be the source of the lack of upkeep.

Property was clean, safe, and in a great location.. the Desk Manager Shamus was incredible in handling an issue and his customer service skills outstanding will stay again
