Love Marriot and the AC brand - very nice hotel and staff. WARNING....don't let the AC name fool you -- if you like it a little cooler at night, this hotel will not go below 67 degrees. Yes, I'm buying a fan today since I've prepaid the 2nd night, otherwise I would move to a different hotel. We travel a lot and typically have no issue getting the room to a decent chill at night but this has been a great lesson and will check in the future on hotels when reserving.

The hotel is in a nice location with easy access to most events downtown. There is a restaurant/bar on site, but I did not partake so can’t comment further. The staff was very friendly. I was especially impressed with Donnie at the valet desk. He was quite helpful and friendly. he’s definitely an asset.

An updated hotel in an old building. GREAT ROOMS, we had a double queen bed room and it was very comfortable. There is a bar offering a happy hour (reasonable prices) and has a limited menu on the first floor of the hotel. Jazz music is available in the bar area on Wednesday nights!

The ice machine did not recognize the ice bucket in the room. We had to fill the ice bucket by filling a cup then dumping it into the bucket. It took several cups to fill the ice bucket. Very annoying.

Everything about the hotel front desk and housekeeping staff was perfect! Super helpful and kind. However the rude bartender during happy hour was terrible… he was busy and kept snapping at customers that “he was dealing with all this so it would be a minute” but when we finally placed our order for smoked whiskey and he said ok, stepped away to grab a glass and he then snapped again and said “oh I can’t do that it takes too long and if you look I have all these people” why couldn’t you say up front you can’t do it? How do you have only 1 bartender for Friday/Saturday night if he is that busy and not able to service customers? Very rude and unprofessional

A Fantastic Stay
From thr moment we arrived, my wife and I were treated like royalty. Valet service for the car, top notch customer service from the staff, and the room was amazing! The bed was super comfy and the rainfall shower was so nice. The hotel was close to some great restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
