Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock Downtown

This place is everything. It definitely feels like home away from home. The breakfast is chefs kiss. The service is on point. I would absolutely stay here again

Large clean rooms and comfortable public spaces, with a spacious courtyard and pool area. Breakfast was good with tacos available the morning I was there. Would love to stay there again whenever I’m in Little Rock but won’t because they billed me double for parking. Despite saying they would remove the second charge, they have not. Instead, they sent a new invoice for the same amount with a bunch of made up numbers (the guest room charge morphed into Misc Revenue Non-taxable). I still like and recommend this hotel, but make sure you get a print out of your bill when you check out, check for extra charges, and make sure they get removed before you leave.

I made a reservation at the Home2Suites by Hilton Little Rock Midtown Medical Center for 4/22. I received a telephone call from the general manager, Shauna McCormick, informing me that the hotel tried to pre-authorize my credit card, but it was invalid and that if I did not arrive before 6pm then my reservation would be canceled. I informed her that I was unaware of any Hilton Hotel policy or practice being of this nature. Ms. Cormick attempted to overtalk me while saying that a valid credit card was needed though I had not arrived to check into the hotel. Ms. McCormick was rude and condescending in her tone and interaction with me via telephone.  I’ve stayed at many Hilton hotels for personal and business purposes and never experienced this type of situation or rude behavior from a senior-level manager particularly before checking into a hotel. If customer service is what Hilton is seeking especially in the midst of this economy, then this experience is a far cry from the Hilton brand.  When talking to the Hilton customer relations department upon reporting this issue, the representative was not apologetic, rather, she minimized my concern and said that pre-authorization requirements are at the discretion of each hotel. I asked if this was a policy or practice, and the representative could not cite such. I insisted that a complaint be filed and the representative informed me that the complaint will go to the general manager. I asked about the procedure for when complaints are they n the general manager and the representative was unsure and directed me to this email.  A serious retraining is obviously needed. I request an investigation on the general manager mentioned above and would like a follow-up to my complaint.

The elevator went out while we were there, which is not necessarily their fault, but it was a bit of an inconvenience
