Holiday Inn Express & Suites ATLANTA EAST - LITHONIA by IHG

Hotel was booked to capacity but was still letting people book rooms. Attempted to check during the night after driving 12 hours. Was told by front desk that they will process a refund and cancel room. The hotel canceled the room and never process the refund.

When we arrived there was no body in the front desk so we had to wait like 5 minutes to check in. Next day we asked for towels since there were only 4 (we were 5 in a room for 6) the lady said I don’t have any available. Later I requested in the front desk, nothing happened. Breakfast time is listed 6:30-9:30 so we went at 8am, there was cereal but no milk, they have tea but no hot water, no coffee. I asked the front lady if they will bring milk and she replied “we don’t have, there is chocolate milk” so I explained “I know but is for cereal and she just said well that’s all we have”. Next day not even the coffee machine. The floor was dirty and the strong smell of ********* invaded the hallway. The elevator had a problem in the second floor, we thought that is was broken and we’ll be stuck in there. Certainly a really bad experience.

Me and my husband had a 2 night 3 day stay We had no maid service no room cleaning was done they supplied us with 2 additional towels The air conditioning unit was broken in room 114 and the floor by the window was saturated wet I use two towels and a plastic bag to help be able to get into the closet near the saturated floor from the air conditioning unit it was reported we were never offered a different room, and the problem was never addressed or repaired

DO NOT STAY HERE! We arrived at 5pm, since check in started at 3. No rooms were ready. We weren't able to get to our room until 7 with 3 children. We move past it. The room smelled AWFUL, everything was torn, scratched up, drain didnt drain, dust everywhere. It was a truly horrible experience and the people behind the counter were so kind and apologetic, because everytime we went to speak to a manager there was NEVER one there! I have pictures of all of it. All they said was "they were renovating." There was no evidence of this besides the spray painted bathroom light fixtures to the wall.

Property is in final stages of renovation which shows well. Excellent job! Bed was very comfortable and staff was great. Only issue was seating in our room was poor. Expected a couch and the office chair was very uncomfortable.

The Breakfast menu was fresh every morning and Ms. Petra did an awesome job. She made sure the food was fresh, available and restocked when it got low and always had a smile on her face. The parking felt safe at this location.

The hotel is being remodeled and it would have been nice to know. We were looking forward to working out.

I booked a king suite for two nights and never got it but was charged for it. Instead I got two full size beds, my husband and I were not pleased and they didn’t make us aware beforehand until we went inside the room!

Ms.Kim was a great help to us during our stay!,we enjoyed the food and great service provided!
