Hotel location is close to the metro and train stations but just need to figure out where they are located.
The staff at the check in and also dining area are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice enough and had a bit of variety. The shower room was better as it was covered by glass door. The overall hotel is a bit dated but no real complaints.

In general, something normal. We went as a couple to spend 3 days with breakfast included. The breakfast was meager and had very little variety. The staff who are providing services in the morning are very serious, all of them. !!There is nothing wrong with that!!!. At reception, however, they are kind and friendly. And something that I will never understand, and not only in this hotel, although it has also happened to us, is that if they give you the option of 2 single beds or a double bed, why don't they comply with what you previously reserved? And if there is no stock, at least they send an email notifying you of it. And finally, the window in the room did not have a handle to open it. I understand that for security reasons it is not possible to open it completely, but tilting is ideal to air out the room.
Even though I explained the reason why I couldn't stay in this hotel(Portugal Embassy didn't get me the visa on expected date because of continuous delay of work) , they didn't get me a refund or adjust the date. I sent so many emails that can prove my absence, but they just defined me as the no-show client hahahahahaha
I understand that some of the accomodation doesn't offer the refund, but it was not my personal issue but the administrative issue in Portugal. But why should i pay 100% of my fee? I wasted over 600$

The bathroom is big, but the room is too small. It is difficult to spread out a 26-inch suitcase in the room. There is no table. The breakfast is average. The bed frame squeaks. The room cleaning is good. You need to manually locate the door when you use the bolt, otherwise it will automatically locate the parking garage on the street behind, and you have to walk around.

Very convenient location approximately 15 minutes walk from the downtown Avenida da Liberdade shopping street, Rossio Square and Chiado. 2 supermarkets beside the hotel. My room, 423, what's nice and quiet with opening windows and views across neighboring rooftops to the distant city skyline and the sea.
In this age of environmental consciousness, it is strange to see all bed and bath linen changed daily even though I hung up my towel.
Staff for uniformly friendly and helpful. Small and overly soft pillows could be improved by offering guests firmer alternatives.
Excellent value overall.

The hotel room size is large, especially the bathroom is very good, the terrace is also very good. The staff service was very warm. When I saw the children, I immediately sent the children's toiletries. It was Bulgari, and the little guy was happy. A little distance from the old town, but the taxi is very fast and very cheap, the gym on the top floor is very good, and the night view is good. It is very comfortable to sit in the garden bar at night.

Hotel VIP Grand Lisboa is located about 4 min walking from the metro station Campo Pequeno, which is the yellow line. It is not far from the airport, about 10 mins by taxi. It is also easy to go to the city center or the airport by metro. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel. You can also find some small restaurants nearby and a food court at Sagres Campo Pequeno. The room is spacious with a bathtub. They provide a bottle of water everyday, but there is no kettle to boil water and they don’t provide coffee or tea bags. For a four star hotel, the numbers of toiletries and towels provided daily are quite inconsistent. There are many parking spaces on the street outside the hotel, but there is no specific place for taxi drop off. The outdoor swimming pool is closed in December. Overall, it is not a bad choice.

Highly recommended! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and gracious throughout our stay. Location is excellent, and afforded us the opportunity to walk and use public transportation to experience Lisbon’s beauty.

GGuest UserWonderful experience and I will be back. Everything was well organized as a proper hotel should be
GGuest UserThis hotel is really central and the staff are amazingly great The breakfast is am delicious I would say this hotel is amazing love it wish I was staying longer
GGuest UserEverything is absolutely perfect: friendliness and professionalism of the staff, very quiet room (n.5.3, 5th floor with elevator), cozy and super clean, with a bottle of water and ”welcome” sweets (I really liked it, especially after a whole day (air travel), excellent wi-fi, and the possibility of having breakfast served in the room. I also liked the attention to the environment and the reduction of unnecessary expenses (bottle and glass cups, instructions on changing towels only when necessary, etc.). Unfortunately it was a one-night stay (coming from the Azores, I arrived at 9.30 pm and only stayed until 9 am the following morning), but I will definitely repeat this excellent experience! Highly recommended.
