Not a 4 star hotel - but adequate and functional Staff are 4 Star!! - Always willing to help. Heard several guests take it out on poor staff due to expectations of a 4 star standing. Very basic toiletries - a soap pump stuck on the wall and one glass in the bathroom No concierge to help with touristy stuff. They just hand out brochures Breakfast selection is poor - seems they are always having to fill up in little quantities - seems like they ration the food. Felt sad to even ask the staff to fill up Staff are 4 star! Ordered a limousine airport transfer. No limousine but a regular car smelling of cigarettes. Again no fault of the hotel staff. They did tell me driver is not associated with hotel. I think they should drop down a star or better the facility.
I really enjoyed our staying in lisbon apartment. The best thing:There is no reception, you have entrance code to come inside building and room. The room is super super clean. The cleaning service and virtual reception was really good and fast. For us everything was enough beacause we spent all our time to visit lisbon and around.Hotel is near the airport and 15 min driving to the centro. We had our car, there is parking space around but you have to pay.At keast I will choose this brand again to visit lisbon.

IHG can be very irritating. When you book, the web site doesn't tell you about the ongoing lobby refurb, which must be taking the most amount of time ever for the least work done. Just before you arrive, you then get the ”hey we're doing a refurb email”. Very disingenuous and IHG could do better. The nice thing about this hotel is the lovely staff. Friendly and painless early check in when we were expecting to have to leave the bags. 9th floor rooms that are acceptable, but tired and really nothing special. However the mattress was comfy, the shower fiesty, and there were plenty of electrical outlets and charging points. The squeaky wooden floors need to go, and the air con could do with modernisation. Diamond status got me free breakfast, and the beaming smiles of the breakfast staff lift you for the day, even if the quite reasonable breakfast is served in a soulless underground prison cell WITH NO LIFT to get down there, a 0/10 if you have a disability. The public areas are a 1970s disaster. Space is limited, but a huge amount is given over to a tired ”garden feature” which needs to go. Lobby seating is limited and needs a redesign - somone let a designer loose on it who had no real practical experience of comfort or usage. Hotel wifi is old. It constantly logs you out if you're not active and requires you to reconnect. The hotel is well situated even if some distance from the sights. Entrecampos station ia a five minute walk, as is Campo Pequeno with the metro. There's always taxis at the front of the hotel. In the local area there's a supermarket, pharmacy, and several restaurants within a few minutes. I'd recommend the Chinese Huang He which has a buffet every night, with a superb selection of value for money dishes.

I was nicely surprised to find hotel Holiday Inn express Saldhana in Lisbon so new and so clean. The rooms still smell like new and are daily thoroughly cleaned by very a friendly and hard working cleaning team, the bathroom is also very clean and spacious, with a very good shower. The matrass and pillows are also very comfortabel. AND the most important subject of my review is the front desk staff. What an incredible team of very friendly, polite and professional young people. When I arrived to the hotel, I was warmly welcomed by Marianna, she did her best to accomodate me and to find the best room solution for me so I can feel comfortable staying in the hotel for 2 weeks. And she is always ready to help and to listen. I also really would like to thank Filipe for his support and patience, Arthur for always telling me that if I need any help, they are there to help me. Also thank you so much to amazing Ana, Rafael, Pedro for their fantastic friendliness and helpfulness in the times I needed it because of my health issues. What a professional staff, nothing is too much for them (sorry if I forgot someone)... Every morning waking up with a very good breakfast, big variety of choices, everything fresh and nicely presented and clean. A big thank you to the breakfast staff to work hard and keep everything covid safe and very clean.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

The hotel is in a good location. But the facilities are old. The windows are not soundproof. The girl at the front desk wearing round glasses had a very cold attitude. Neither Wi-Fi nor breakfast time is introduced. Not friendly to Chinese people. Other service staff are ok. Should breakfast snacks be covered with covers? Flies are crawling…
In fact, if it’s just location that wins, there are many local five-star hotels to choose from on Liberty Avenue. One thing is that a small bottle of wine was given in the hotel room. Although it tasted terrible, it was given.

This hotel was very new and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had good variety. I am not sure about the location, because we were lazy and took Ubers, which were so cheap, when we weren't getting picked up for an activity. I didn't really learn the city like I normally do when we use the Metro or bus. Overall, I was very happy with this choice. The room was a decent size by European standards. The only issue was that there was no dresser so I stacked my clothes on the desk. This was a minor issue that wasn't a big concern. There didn't seem to be any bars immediately nearby to have a drink at the end of the day, but we found the hotel bar was fine for that purpose. We barely spent any time here because we were so busy with activities, but it was a good clean home base and I would stay here again.

My wife and I were here on a Gate1 tour, starting in Porto and finishing in Lisbon, where we stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed them. Room was large enough for both of us to feel comfortable, outlets where I could plug in recharging batteries, as well as plug in my laptop to work while sitting up in bed. Couple short-comings, in my opinion: No water heater for tea/coffee, telephone seems awkward to use and no directory. (How do I get a Wakeup call? - fortunately, I didn't need one) Breakfast buffet was the normal hotel type of buffets, which - unfortunately after 10 days, they all seem the same! Cappuccino tasted good. Staff was helpful. On our last day, no problems in checking our luggage with the staff, nor retrieving them later for a ... ride to airport at 1 am! Also, we were able to use the various lounges, sit with my laptop plugged in, while relaxing for about 6 hours before airport ride.

My recent stay at the VIP Executive Zurique Hotel was acceptable. This hotel has so much potential, and some more attention in a few areas would go a long way in transforming this property to one of a higher quality. The service was excellent. Employees were all compassionate and professional. In addition, the food offered in the hotel’s restaurant was of high quality. Prices at the property were fair. From a value point of view, I expected a bit more. I paid €439 for my eight-day stay. In addition, dinner was expensive and extremely limited. More specifically, in terms of amenities, the hotel boasts a beautiful outdoor pool area. Unfortunately, it was often overcrowded and littered with garbage. More attention to detail would remedy these issues. Wifi was available, but weak in certain parts of the hotel. A bar is located in the lobby, but opens late and closes early in the evening, making it inaccessible. The gym was closed during my time here. That was also unfortunate, as images and descriptions on websites were misleading. I stayed in an Executive Single Room during my week here. The room itself was contemporary and updated, however, housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days, my room was cleaned impeccably, others, housekeeping was abysmal or nonexistent. Towels oftentimes had rips or stains on them. The curtains had small rips and were stained. In addition, one of the blankets was stained. The provided toiletries were good. The bed itself was comfortable, but the pillows were very poor quality. The hotel did not specially publicize a smoking policy. Oftentimes, the corridors reeked of smoke. Cigarettes littered the pool deck and common areas in the hotel. Staff worked hard to keep surfaces in the lobby disinfected, however, their efforts were undermined by thousands of guests utilizing these areas. I do believe the hotel is understaffed. The hotel would benefit from having maintenance and housekeeping readily available and on call for assistance. When I necessitated maintenance, I was told I would have to wait for the following morning when the technician would be available. While the rooms were updated and contemporary, the bathrooms were rundown. The hotel shows it’s apparent age on the exterior, and in the elevators. Some surfaces were cracked and not functional. I experienced difficulties in the elevators. They stopped working at times, leaving me stuck. Again, better maintenance would remedy these concerns. The location of the hotel is a positive. It is surrounded by transit options that provide direct links to cities all across the country. This is ideal for all visitors. Overall, the hotel served it’s purpose. I do believe the hotel is ill equipped to handle the high volume of guests that stay here. Housekeeping is marginal, and must be improved. Maintenance needs to pay closer attention to the aging property. Finally, security here is lacking. I have some concerns as it pertains to safety. Front desk staff has no control over people
Check in was smooth. Found a decent rate for the weekend. Rooms are spacious and bathroom are of good quality However, the biggest problem is the Air Conditioning is pathetic. No matter how much one complains, they are unable to fix it. First day, we managed. Second day we complained about the AC and nothing happened. Third day they offered to change the room but every room, the same situation. One of the employees told me off record that they have issues with AC and mostly is on power saving mode thereby making it almost in effective. The other major issue is absolutely no amenities including kettle in the room, tea or coffee sachets. Also the hotel lobby and the restaurant lacks a vibe and is mostly dry. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant are helpful but with limitations.

SsissomiWe spent two nights here while in Lisbon on our tour of Spain, Portugal & Morocco. This was one of the nicer hotels they put us up in. The hotel and rooms were modern and very clean. The rooms were reasonably sized. Not overly large, but adequate for two people and luggage. There was an ATM in the lobby. And the WiFi was reliable. The room was cool when we checked in! If any of the things I've commented on seem like something you would expect, don't! Our experiences on this trip made us appreciate all of these things. The sink in bathroom drained slowly and the holder for the hand shower was broken. (It fell to lowest height every time the hand shower was removed.) Housekeeping should be logging these things for Maintenance to address proactively. But, overall, we enjoyed our stay in what was one of my favorite cities from our trip
LLightPacker783921We stayed at the icons hotel after much research. We really enjoyed our visit. So why……? Here is 10 reasons… 1) Great location. Only about 15 min walk to metro 2) Lidl and other supermarkets also 10-15 mins away 3) whilst the room was small in form. It has all the facilities we needed (3 in total). The balcony was perfect and was west facing so enjoyed ☀️ sunshine from afternoon until evening. Please note the hotel is in the direct flight path to the airport. If you do t like planes, forget it. For us it was fascinating. Bed was firm but comfortable. Air con was great 4) breakfast was much better than we expected. A huge range of food from cereals to scrambled eggs and pastries. The area where breakfast is held is clean and well organised by the team. Thanks 5) safe in the room was useful 6) bathroom shower was fantastic 7) many local restaurants that were close by that served great authentic food 8) cost €8 by UBER to airport 9) 2 lifts in the apartment. Worked well 10) the view from our apartment whilst a little industrial was interesting. If your a 5 star kind of person or family, this place is not for you If your looking for a cool, clean, well positioned in an authentic neighbourhood, this hotel this is great The best advice you will get is to leave PLENTY of time to get to the airport. 2 reasons 1) traffic is busy in the area 2) they have passport control AFTER security. Yes IN DEPARTuRes. Don’t leave late and hope to rush through. It is a busy airport and stressful when you area in a huge queue. You have been warned!!!!
