Hotels in Lisbon Old Town, Lisbon

I love the location of the hotel, it is very central to the tourist attractions and also a lot of nice restaurants around the corner, make it very easy for tourist without transport. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. My room provide breakfast, while the spread is just good as it’s a boutique hotel which is fine for me. The room is as shown in the picture, nice, clean, smells good just the lighting a bit dimmed which I guess is normal for European hotel. The room is very good for me just that the hotel don’t provide complimentary bottled water which it should be a basic service by all hotels. Otherwise, everything is good.

The hotel is located near Augustus Square, with very convenient transportation, and many urban attractions are within walking distance. The facade is not big, just like the entrance of an ordinary house. You have to ring the doorbell to open the wooden door and then you will see the front desk next to the stairs in the foyer. After going up one flight of stairs, you can take the elevator to your room. The staff are friendly, the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Even though there is a downtown area downstairs, the room is very quiet once the windows are closed. Stayed for three nights in a row, satisfied👍

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Lisbon Villa Baixa is a fantastic apartment complex located right in the heart of Lisbon, near the iconic Rossio Square. The location couldn’t be better — it offers excellent public transport connections and easy walking access to some of the city’s most famous attractions. Within minutes, you can reach the Santa Justa Lift, the Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa), Praça do Comércio, the Alfama district, and the beautiful viewpoints like Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro da Graça. The apartments themselves are exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and recently renovated to a high standard. Everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The staff is discreet, helpful, and always ready to assist when needed. One of the great advantages is 24-hour access to your apartment, giving you full flexibility during your stay. I sincerely recommend Villa Baixa to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and centrally located place to stay in Lisbon.

The breakfast was delivered to the door, it was warm and delicious. The location of the apartment was very good and it was convenient to travel. The downstairs was a very bustling business district. It was very lively at night, there was no elevator, and it was a bit hard to carry luggage.

I stayed at Haws Apartments for three days and was absolutely delighted! First, I have to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. They were incredibly nice. On our first day, they enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants and attractions, and even gave us helpful travel tips. We didn't have to worry about getting lost at all. The apartment management was also fantastic! We encountered a few minor issues, and they immediately addressed them. Their responsiveness was superb, making it feel like staying at a friend's house. The room was incredibly clean, looking like new every day, with fresh sheets and towels. They really took care of every detail! The most surprising thing was that upon check-in, we received a bottle of wine, handmade jam, and snacks! These little touches were truly heartwarming. The overall service level was exceptional and completely exceeded our expectations! If I ever visit Lisbon again, I would definitely stay at Haws Apartments again! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Also, there's a large Lidl supermarket just 50 meters from the apartment, making it very convenient. Several other important attractions are also within walking distance. The room was fully equipped with a washing machine, oven, dishwasher, and dishes.

Excellent, unbeatable location with direct bus service from the airport terminal to the door step of this hotel, which was previously a grand theatre and now sitting right at the heart of the main square in Lisbon old city. It is a tad dated inside but nothing to cry home about and the room is clean with a full kitchenette. Do not expect 5***** furnishings and you will appreciate that you got the best room in the best location at a fantastic price. The check-in staff were also fabulous.

Prime location. You will hit the one of the main squares just round the corner going downhill where you can find the tram. Service was ok. Only thing is that the room is a bit damp and the floor a bit sticky, also a bit lack of sunlight.

So so. Not too clean, toilet a bit broken?! The shower door cannot close tightly so water leakage out. Staff services good, come anytime even we check in late

Great location next the Rossio train station and VN line, and other bus lines. But not suggested going to Sintra. The Palace too small and run-down for the price. I will only rate it a 5. It is no comparison to Swan Castel in Germany.
