Avenue Hostel & Suites Reviews

Excellent location - It was just a few minutes' walk from the metro station and very close to Parque Eduardo VII, where the Christmas market was (and I enjoyed it very much!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I encountered some problems on arrival, and they sorted them out immediately. Give them a bug thumbs up. The facilities were basic but had everything I needed. Given such a cheap price, I won't ask for more. I felt a bit cold at night even though I had a hot water bottle. I was staying on the top floor and it was December (I feel cold easily anyway). Maybe they can try to make it warmer?

Overall it was good. Seeing that there were only eight-person rooms and four-person rooms, I naturally chose the four-person room. However, there was only a ceiling fan (which was unbearable in the summer) and in spring and autumn, you have to cover your head when sleeping on the upper bunk. It was very hot on the first night and had to be turned on (I had no choice but to do so), which was very inappropriate. The toilet was cleaned in a timely manner, the kitchen was clean, and free coffee and hot water were provided (I didn't buy water the whole time in Lisbon 👍)
