Esqina Urban Lodge

Fantastic accommodation right in the centre of Lisbon! We will return! The location couldn't have been better. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we received a lovely welcome with a small bottle of Portugese red wine and to Pasteis de Natas! The room was large, bright, and the beds were comfortable, and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The air con was quiet which is a rare bonus. We have already recommended the Esquina Lodge to friends and family!

Most comfortable bed and ideal position. Two blocks from Baica-Chaido station. We came direct from the Airport train station. Friendly manager and all so easy and surrounded by restaurants. Can also recommend the e bike tour.,...........

I cannot stress how disappointed I am with the Esquina Urban Lodge. Imagine how unhappy we were when we arrived to find reception area with no elevator on the ground floor. You need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to the elevator. The lobby was so bleak, we had no place to sit while waiting for a transport later that week. The marketing of the property is beautiful, but clearly does not represent the product that exists. The team of Luana and Evgenia are stars. They bring light to a dark and depressing property. If we only read the Google reviews, we would never have booked the property. Once we arrived, we were in nonrefundable situation, so we stayed. We actually left the property to go to Porto overnight so that we can get away from the room. The room in Porto only highlighted the problems with the facility. The website did not reflect the dreary reception, depressing hallway, and poorly decorated room. We lived through dimly lit hallways, construction noise, an elevator broken one day and the morning we left there was a garbage bag in the reception first thing to greet us as we headed out for our morning coffee.

This hotel was amazing. It was so quiet. I had my best nights sleep on my entire Europe trip here. Shower is good size and bed comfortable. Check- in was easy and there is a lift. The AC worked well. I was worried about not having breakfast included but there are plenty of places in the area to grab food. The location was great and close to a metro stop, and for me, close to where my tours left from. Check in was quick and customer service great. Housekeeping did a nice job. Only negative is the wifi went out a few times. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, the AC worked, and was in a great location for walking around to food places. Highly recommend. I would say that the room that I had ordered was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but nonetheless, we made it work and it was comfortable.
