A very comfortable apartment, nicely decorated and very homely. All the facilities (shower, cooking, washing machine) were good. Transport links are excellent, with metro stations on different lines all within a 10-15 walk. There was a good in-person check in. There are shops, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby in this residential area. It is only a 15- minute walk to the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum… one of the finest small collections of art in the world.

Liked · The location of the apartment was excellent. The metro station is a 7minunte walk and so is the supermarket. Parking is a bit difficult since it is available only for residents. But there is a parking garage in the same building as the supermarket and the metro station (huge mall). It costs around €19/day. The host provided enough toiletries. The kitchen was well equipped with the basic utensils and the host also provided coffee pods. The house was overall clean. Disliked · When we met the host he was quite friendly and told us to message him if something was missing or anything was needed. So we messaged him that we had requested a crib for our baby and it wasn't there. He never replied to us nor provided us with the crib. The toilet seat was loose and not well maintained. The water in the bathroom after the shower did not drain quickly. It took at least 15mins till all the water had drained. This was a bit irritating, especially while taking a shower. The dishwasher was very noisy and disturbed our sleep. The gasket of the dishwasher was loose and kept coming off and needed to be attached properly before every use. One of the dining table chairs is loose and can break, but the host did not warn us. Overall this house requires some maintenance!
