Staff are very good and the room was well appointed, spacious, modern and clean (with a balcony and a beautiful view of the racecourse). In fact the staff were very, very good. The only reason I give 4 rather than 5 is because I had the worst steak ever in the restaurant, which I tried to eat, but left half as inedible, a shame because my husband enjoyed his meal and we both enjoyed breakfast. If you avoid the steak, you will have a 5 star experience!

We enjoyed it here, so much that we thought we would have relaxing couple of night in the Corner Suite. Overall, we were happy with the stay. However, we did have a few issues, that were reported to Ellie. She took complete ownership of the small issues and dealt with them all to the best of her ability. I don’t think you can say fairer than that. A place can’t fix something, until they know there is an issue. Reception staff were excellent. We didn’t get round to using the Pool and Gym, but we took advantage of the new TV’s and watched a lot of Netflix. We will return here again

Credit when it's due. I am quick enough to whinge, so I feel I should be quick enough to give credit when it's due. I had a problem and the manger, Dider, sorted it. Everything was clean, the food was good, the staff are nice, the race day was excellent, even the entertainment was fun for an old git like me. We had a great night's sleep after a long day and nothing felt rushed in the morning. Will be back.

Brilliant! Good room and facilities. Some blue badge abuse by the usual selfish drivers, but all in all, good parking. Room clean and and quiet the main two requirements. Restaurant just ordinary fare. But the big sell is we had a room over-looking the race track. Never realised we could be so close and we much enjoyed cocktails on the terrace watching the gee gees go by. We're not fans, but it was just so different. Best thing is, we didn't have the spa mobs in their dressing gowns descending on the bar. (Hope the time comes when hotels get back to being hotels rather than gyms etc.) We loved it.

Attended this hotel for the horse racing at Lingfield Park. Huge free car park, so there no issues trying to find a spot. On arrival at reception, we were greeted with the lovely fragrant floral aroma. Don't normally get that. Arrived a full hour before check in time expecting to have a coffee before getting the room key. Receptionist didn't bat an eyelid, checked us in with a smile, provided all the information we needed, and handed over the keys. Allocated 2nd floor, overlooking the golf course and part of the race course. Very happy with the view. Large spacious room super king bed. French style balcony. Nice clean and tidy. Usual tea and coffee satchets with two small biscuits. Two bottles of water. Plenty of storage for clothes. One chair for the desk and one easy chair. (Plenty of room for a second chair). Due to the horse racing we didn't use the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was unlimited buffet style with plenty of choice, option to have omlettes cooked to your choice. Very happy with the breakfast. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Check out was 12md but on the road by 1030. If your thinking of going to the races, I'd certainly recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay!! Me and my wife got married on May 10th and stayed at the Lingfield Marriott the night of our wedding before flying out of Gatwick on the 11th. The staff were all absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The set up in the room was also sensational and entirely unexpected. The spa was perfect as well! Great golf course, horse racing course and the breakfast was also 10/10. I would 100% recommend and I will be definitely be returning soon with my wife and/or some friends for golf and some horse racing. Deborah, Ellie and the whole team do a fantastic job and the energetic gentleman behind the bar (sorry I've forgotten his name) was brilliant throughout our stay!

Pleasant surrounding with view of the racecourse but unfortunately the view from our room was into the car park. We asked if we could move rooms (the hotel was very quiet). We were refused unless we paid - the room wasn’t cheap in the first place. Pool area subject to close at a moments notice and the jacuzzi and many other areas of the so called ‘Spa’ were closed. The Beef Nachos for dinner came without beef. We were then told that this was ‘beef sauce’!? What?! Not sure about that but it was removed from the bill after questioning this.
