Right from the start, we were greeted with such warmth. My family spent a couple days in Lincolnville and had a grand time. We could not have been happier. Mount Battie Inn is definitely a bed and breakfast experience, while enjoying the privacy of your own motel room. I don't think I have ever stayed in a place that had 2 comfortable chairs. The decor is really nice all around and the proprietors are so hospitable. Gorgeous grounds. Delicious muffins and breakfast bread each day. It was absolutely fabulous! I am so glad to have stayed here and look forward to returing someday.

We've enjoyed staying with Christine & Ed at The Mount Battie Inn many times during their 18 years owning & operating this Lincolnville treasure. They take great care of the rooms & grounds to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable. The homemade baked goods are a delicious treat. Their knowledge of the area is very helpful with dining & attractions options. We look forward to our next visit!

This is a charming inn with a lovely view. We stayed in a family room with two rooms and extra half bath which was great for extra space and privacy. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The owners were attentive and helpful. Fresh baked cranberry loaf and brownies were delivered warm to our door and were delicious.

Fun cozy place!
It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire!
Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other.
We would go back any time.

The owner was a total sweetheart! Homemade banana bread for breakfast! A little welcome gift from an area merchant. If we ever get back to Maine - we will definately stay there again!

Great little motel with a super-friendly and accommodating staff. Felt almost like a B&B. We were delayed and arrived late - well past normal check-in time. They left a key near the door to our room to accommodate our late arrival. Lovely, fresh-baked bread and muffins were waiting for us upon our arrival. I will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area again.
