Montrose Farms Alpaca Ranch

Cute house, strict rules, lots of cats The check-in process was a little stressful. We arrived a few minutes before the 5 PM check-in time and the owner was nowhere to be found. I called a couple of times with no response before we finally found her out and about doing chores. We were able to get her attention to be let into the property. The main living area is available for guest use but has a heavy odor of cats. The rented room and bathroom are clean and the odor is much more tolerable. Once in the room, we were provided the house rules. There is no food or drink permitted in the guest room and while you have access to the great room to eat or watch tv, there is no meat consumption allowed. We also were made to feel like it was an inconvenience when we asked if we were able to see the alpacas and we ended up only seeing them from a distance. Overall, the bed was comfy and we were pretty much just there to sleep anyways. But I wish we would have been made more aware of the rules and conditions prior to booking.

Perfect B&B but it smells like cat piss The place was really beautiful and the location was perfect as we were at the US Nationals, Lucas Oil Raceway working and spectating. The host was wonderful, everything was great except it smelled like cat piss. That ruined our stay there.
