The Lincoln Hotel

Central location, with a nice breakfast. The place is in desperate need of redecoration as it smells horrible.

Me and my partner stayed here on 15th October for 1 night and for the price( £150) I was shocked at how grubby the hotel was. There was also an unpleasant smell through the hotel hallways, it is in need of an overhaul and decorating. very dated rooms and the bathroom was disgusting. The location was spot on for us. I really expected more from this hotel but you live and learn. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Shame really as its in a beautiful location.

Where to begin, firstly on a positive the night manager was lovely, very accommodating and helpful...... the hotel looked nice from the front and had a beautiful view of the cathedral, within a short distance of town although hilly but we are in Lincoln so no issues. Now the core issues, we checked in late in the day as could not get access till after 2pm, entering the room the first thing I saw was the crack above the window and the dirt on the exterior of the windows and my god the birds have big poops must be a few years since windows cleaned, so then I looked around the paper pealing on the wall, the carpets stained, the furniture was all pock marked and looked well worn, the chunk missing from the wall, the cracks in the ceiling then I entered the bathroom ouch, the taps were pock parked and covered in limescale the bath was exceptionally well worn with ingrained foot steps in the bottom the top edges of the bath has had a half hearted attempt to re-enamal with the smallest paint brush was like a dot to dot picture, on a plus point the toilet was clean but no toilet brush, no bleach or cleaning fluid. There was a hole in the ceiling and the floor tiles omg all seen better days, to say the room was tardy is an understatement. I think the Hotel owners need to take stock and spend a bit of money. I also did not appreciate having to pay for parking, the put me up bed in the room squeaked evertime you moved, no hairdryer not such an issue cause the bath and shower head was not exactly enticing anyone to use it. Plus point the breakfast was nice.

The gorgeous Andrea who has a wonderful accent and the hard working Richard make a devastating combination. They are tops for service and reliability and so courteous. Where do you find these people as they are the ‘gems of premier inn’. I travel all over the UK staying at premier inns and these 2 are the best. 10/10. Well done Premier Inn!

Absolutely love this hotel, the staff are lovely, the food delicious, and love our garden room. We have stayed 3 times and would not go elsewhere really looking forward to our next stay.

Fantastic location at the top of the hill and close to many good restaurants and pubs. We were glad we upgraded to a cathedral view which was literally just across the road. Even with this upgrade the room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again if we revisit Lincoln.
