Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel by OYO Lincoln City

I am a frequent traveler, having 10+ hotel stays a year. We checked into this hotel at Siletz bay for a family trip last week. It was planned last minute and we wanted something beach front for 4 days... so that limited our options. So the good: beside Mo's restaurant, all rooms face the bay, you can hear the ocean and see where it meets the bay, the wind was minimal in front of the hotel, they provide breakfast, the beds were comfortable, our room had a balcony but not all do. Our room was clean. They allow pets. The bad: there are not enough outlets,( it would not be hard to buy new lamps that have a usb port attached so you don't have to unplug the lamp to charge your phone), the furniture is in rough shape, the balcony railing was in disrepair, the provided breakfast was very minimal. All 4 mornings they ran out waffle mix, no butter for 3 mornings, other than waffles it was cold or hot cereal, English muffin, yogurt and whole fruit. It's a step above not offering breakfast.... well maybe half a step. The parking is lacking. When we got in late we had to park in their underground overflow which was difficult to park in and some cars / trucks couldn't use. Some staff was friendly some weren't. Overall I think they charge too much for the experience and condition of the property. I paid 185/ night during the week ( sun- thur) and was overall disappointed for that price.

We came up on a fishing trip to Lincoln City staying for 4 days we stayed at the siletzs Bay beachfront motel what a great place to stay extremely clean right on the beach the beds were wonderful but most of all was the staff Melissa was fantastic will be back to stay here again thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I planned this through Travelocity. Had it all booked and paid for. Then after receiving an email telling me that upon arrival I would be required to pay an upfront "damage deposit" that could equal the amount of my stay. If I wanted to check in early, another fee. Then all the reasons they would keep my 100 percent payment for various reasons. Made me think they would just find a reason to keep the "damage deposit", which was never mentioned while booking. Canceled entire trip.

The hotel is older and a bit dated. My room was very spacious and had a perfect view of the water. The staff is very accommodating, especially Melissa at the front desk. Parking can be tight. You can walk to a few restaurants and a small grocery store. I was there for a conference and didn’t get a chance to explore the beach. Maybe next time.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel. The view from our room was spectacular! The staff were great, and so was the continental breakfast the next morning. I recommend staying there.

When we arrived at the hotel at the designated check-in time, we were told by the desk clerk that she had cancelled our booking. We were charged for a two-night stay even though we weren't the ones who had cancelled. We were told by the clerk that the charge would be refunded, though we haven't seen it as of yet.

WE booked 2 nights at this hotel based on WEB info which stated Ocean view, upon arrival we refused the room because the Ocean view was across the bay and at an unacceptable angle. Because we booked thru Travelocity, we had to contact them for a refund which we did and were promised a refund upon approval of the hotel, the clerk on duty assured me they would comply with my request. I was notified by Travelocity my refund would be granted, however, only a portion of my payment was refunded. I urge everyone not to utilize this agency, I will not stay or recommend any property associated with OYO their practices are deceptive.

My husband and I arrived today for our 4 day 3 night stay after driving 3.5/4 hours to get here, only to be told our reservation got canceled 2 days prior!!!! We never recieved any notice. I even called one week prior to double check everything was still a go and they said yes, our room is confirmed. We never canceled it, it was the OYO company that they are a part of that canceled our trip without telling us because they over booked us. This was not good news to hear, as like I said, we drove hours to get there and now had nowhere to stay. We wouldn't get our refund for 24 or more hours they said, depending on our bank. Thankfully our travel agent worked her magic and was able to book us another hotel room elsewhere for our trip during the busy peak season. We will not ever try and stay here again after this, because their company did nothing to try and help us. The lady behind the counter did, but she couldn't do much without the company doing their part, which they failed at. Never will we ever recommend this place or it's sister OYO company hotel or motels to anyone we know. Waist of time and almost our trip. Thank you travel lady for saving our vacation, due to their overlooking issue!!!!

Great view, strong shower head (bathroom with a fan) and the bed is very comfortable with plenty of nice pillows. Great view of the bay, and easy access to the beach. Nice TV and it’s a quiet place. Furniture is super worn out, and it needs a deep clean with an update. Breakfast was all carbs, and powdered creamer, but kids or carby eaters will be happy. The elevator stopped working because the 3am ear-piercing fire alarm messed it up. Won’t be back.
