Lovely hotel , friendly helpful staff. Very clean. decent size rooms with a bath , quiet. I stay here 3-4 times a year always return as it is the best in the area

We choose this hotel as it was close to where our friends live. We booked 3 double rooms and even though we weren’t in them for long, they were lovely and clean. Staff weee super nice and friendly
The location wasn’t too bad as we could travel to where we wanted to go. The windmill was a great place to eat and for a good price too.

Pool closed which we weren't told until after booking. Rooms ok but tired..carpets stained etc. Breakfast ok but no hot vegan option other than hashbrowns and beans. Also didn't appreciate GB news playing in reception. Room air con didn't seem to actually do anything.

Very good for the full week with amazing food. The staff are fully accommodating and welcoming catering to the needs of our group. Bar staff were entertaining. Pillows comfortable. Bed comfortable Room clean Guinness was brilliant Would recommend

The hotel was ok, but the hotel staff were incredible and made my stay, I would return on that basis alone. Specific mention to Jo, Maisie, Heather and Katie who were exceptional.

Shame the pool wasn’t open, gym needs updating. Staff were amazing, especially Jo and Maisie! Food was out of this world

The room was large and the double bed was very comfortable, pillows a little on the hard side. We had 2 easy chairs and a table in the room. The carpet looked newish. The net curtains has rips in them. The bathroom was ok if a little tired. The shower was fixed to the wall, no hand held shower head. The toilet didn't flush very well at all, we did report it to reception. Towels were clean and large. If you opened windows the room was very noisy from the busy road. The air con unit was a blessing and worked really well. The dressing table/desk had a large mirror and hairdryer to hand. The bar staff were attentive. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Overall the hotel looked tired. The lift wasn't working and the spa facilities were closed. The staff were very helpful.
