Hotel Villa Dirce

Had a brilliant 2 weeks in Limone staying at the Villa Dirce, situated on the side of a mountain overlooking the lake. Stunning views of the lake from our room, but if you've booked a room with a hot tub and your room is on floor -2 your view will be obstructed by a 1 mitre high wall. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice but as a welshman I missed my baked beans and brown sauce with my cooked breakfast, The free shuttle bus is very handy to go to and from the town. The staff were very helpful, attentive and only to happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Marco was excellent and very friendly as we're all the staff,the pool is great with a fantastic view. On the down side there are only 8 coat hangers for 2 people, no where near enough we had clothes hanging off the tv, the balcony and bathroom doors anywhere we could hang clothes we did. Nothing to do with the hotel but never seen a TUI rep in the 2 weeks we were there. Would we go again?? Definitely!! Would we stay at the Hotel Villa Dirce again?? Definitely yes.

Really great experience here. Reviews do it justice the staff are lovely and the hotel has amazing views and amenities. Feels less resort more personal. Rooms modern clean and noise cancelling good. Beds comfy and air con sufficient. Was worried about the location a little as Google has it quite far out but actually the walk is totally fine and the shuttle service great also. Shout out to Victor and Antonio for that you guys went above for us and it was appreciated. Also thanks to Julia and all the staff we really enjoyed our time here. My wife and I, took a short break to visit Limone for our first trip in 15 years without children. The relaxing atmosphere at this hotel was absolutely perfect. The coastal walk to the town, undulates, but is a lovely 20 minute stroll. If not, the shuttle bus can be used. The hotel is so relaxing, calm, and staff are superb. Breakfast buffet is not over facing and the choice was perfect. We are in one of the partner restaurant’s which was lovely. A lovely place to stay.

Highly rate this hotel. Staff helpful and facilities good, beautiful view from room and all areas of the hotel. Breakfasts very good and varied and not closing until 11am gave you an even more leisurely start to your day.

Hotel location was great - out of town with a lovely walk into Limone. The distance meant that the area was very quiet and many guests went out during the day, often resulting in the pool and communal areas becoming more quiet. The views from the balcony were amazing and it was great to relax with a drink on the balcony and watch the sunset on a night. The facilities were generally good and the breakfasts were great. However, the position of many rooms under the dining area meant a lot of noise on the ceiling every morning. Some of the welcome information was confusing, leading to misinformation about what services were free. In addition, some other guests affected the stay - drinking or smoking heavily and making some communal areas of the hotel much less appealing.
