Baymont by Wyndham Limon

OK for travelling through the US. We were both disappointed that the pool was out of acton due to maintenance. The staff were helpful and polite.

Weeds everywhere. The front desk person was not very welcoming. Dirty, stained carpet. Dirty tissue lying on the floor. Bathtub needs some caulking and scrubbed. Rusted drain in the sink. Sheets had stains on them. The bed was comfortable though. I’ve stayed is older motels before that were very well taken care of and clean. Nobody at the front desk for check out. Lots of other guest saying they have been in the lobby since 5:30 and have yet to see any workers.

Other than the woman that checked me in everything else was dirty, broken or just not there. The room was on the first floor and the window faced the parking lot. The blackout curtains didn’t completely close so other than a sheer curtain you’re completely exposed. Breakfast was supposed to be 5am to 9am but when I left at 7:15 coffee wasn’t even ready. There are several other hotels in the area that cost a little more. Do yourself a favor and don’t be cheap even if it’s for one night like my situation.

Very ran down and looks abandoned on the outside. Weeds over grown, parking lot rough. We usually stay at the microtel across the street but it no long takes Wyndham points. We stayed here on 7/29. The pool was extremely strong with chlorine and the pool area felt more like a storage or maintenance area along with a broken down hot tub. Both ice machines weren’t working. Our room was clean and nice but there was hair in on the bathtub drain which indicates things weren’t cleaned thoroughly. We were in a room with 2 queen beds but only 2 towels. Towels were very worn and tatted on edges. Toilet paper roll was empty and hadn’t been changed. I’ve bucket didn’t have a liner. On our return on 8/4, (we were put in 108 again) the pool was closed due to it “being green” — one ice machine was working at least. Property still very rundown on the outside and still a truck behind the building that had tires off. On the plus side, staff was friendly and breakfast was a hot breakfast of eggs, sausage and hashbrowns. This place wasn’t real inviting but our room was good and it was only for one night… and again on our way back thru. Thank goodness I had points to use and didn’t “pay” to stay here. I’ve stayed at worse but this place could do so much better… and easy fixes. It needs some TLC.

The hotel is very run down. Holes in the carpet, plants growing through the sidewalk. The non-smoking room smelled like it had been sprayed to cover stale smoke. The water pooled in the tub instead of draining during the shower, and the towels were very thin. We would not stay here again.

Would only recommend this location for the service. The desk clerk was very courteous. The room was dirty breakfast was cold and outside not maintained whatsoever
