We had a wonderful experience staying here. The owners welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was clean, quiet, and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Their hospitality truly enhanced my visit, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Very scenic location
Our stay at the Gathering Place on Golden Ponds was very enjoyable. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The location is very scenic and the room was decorated beautifully. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that we had to use a bathroom on a different floor so had to walk up the stairs and through their living area to get to the bathroom. However there is one located on the same floor that was in use by other guests. We enjoyed looking around at Old Hastings Mercantile and Gallery which is just down the road and is amazing.

Lovely historic cottage
A lovely cozy cabin type house nessled in the woods! The house is full of history and a must see for any nature loving enthusiast. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable in their home. We ate dinner in Bancroft at the local pub! If going up in the area again, it will be on our list of places to stay again!

Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless, the bed the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Beautiful and quiet location. The owners are artists and their work in on display. This is the nicest place we have stayed on our trip - too bad we were on our way home and couldn't stay longer.
