Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff but particularly Dimitrious were so helpful and friendly, we had a minor problem when checking in but it was solved quickly and even got upgraded to a better room for the inconvenience. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the bartender in the reception (unfortunately I don’t know his name) was so nice and always greeted me with a smile. We were on a half board basis, and the food is great plenty to choose from. Only thing I would complain about is that the balconies are a bit small but it’s a great hotel. It would be good to note there’s a daily charge for the safe in your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would return!.

Прежде, чем бронировать, почитали отзывы. Они в основном соответствуют действительности. Отель удобно расположен. Я бы сказала, расположение на 10 из 10-ти. С одной стороны выходит прямо на центральную улицу, где вы можете найти бары, рестораны, магазинчики, супер-маркеты, офисы с предложением экскурсий. С другой стороны прямо выход к морю. Опять же довольно близко к Ираклиону, куда чуть ли не каждые пять минут ездят автобусы. Номер был тихий (выходил во внутренний дворик, но мы не любители сидеть на балконе, тем более, что к отелю примыкает терраса, где очень удобно прямо из бара отеля заказывать напитки. Номер чистый (убирают каждый день). Простыни мягкие, батистовые - комфортно спать. Двуспальная кровать - это две кровати, сдвинутые вместе. Но нам так было даже удобнее. Персонал дружелюбный. При том, что отель бюджетный, еда в ресторане разнообразная, свежая и вкусная. Пляж небольшой, смешанного типа. Само дно каменистое, без аквашузов лучше не лезть - ноги поотбиваете. После пяти шезлонги с зонтом могут отдать бесплатно (так они стоят 10 евро). На крыше есть бассейн (но маленький, на фото к отелю показан бассейн соседнего отеля). Правда, есть и минусы. Ванная не совсем удобна. Душевая очень маленькая. Это, конечно, не смертельно, но для полных людей ощутимое неудобство. Сам номер был большим. Также в нашем номере чайник искрил (мы были осторожны, боялись пожара). Кондер был старенький, с отвалившейся нижней частью, так что отрегулировать направление воздуха не было возможным (но температуру держал). Но хоть есть минусы, они действительно некритичны и мы с удовольствием вернулись бы в этот отель. Он соответствует звездам и цене.

Stayed here has part of a TUI Tour holiday that was booked though them after arriving at 1pm they left a snack & bottle of water in the fridge due to us missing dinner which was nice ! The room was clean and functional but the view from the balcony was interior which was pretty grim tbh! And then the next night a very loud wedding reception above our heads until 12.30 at night was unbearable has we were off on daily tours starting at 7.50 ! After complaining and being told it was a one off they agreed to move us the new room was fabulous a side sea view so make sure that you upgrade food was fabulous breakfast & evening dinner a great range of food and the staff were so nice apart from one very surly reception lady who didn’t want to move us and didn’t understand that it was an early morning TUI holiday the area is very busy and beach lounger’s were €20 a day pool up top was small more of a dip pool and very busy with people playing music and full of noisy loud families

I stayed there for 4 days the last week. It was lovely the food, the location of the hotel, the room and especially the hotel's staff. Although I find it unthinkable such a nice 4 star hotel .with well maintained facilities has no a/c in the lobby

Siamo stati due settimane con formula mezza pensione. L’hotel è molto bello, la posizione perfetta per vivere la movida senza esserne travolti. Il servizio da 5 stelle, il personale di una gentilezza disarmante: dalla reception alla sala fino alle addette alle pulizie. Porteremo sempre nel nostro cuore Johanna nata per accogliere e far sentire gli ospiti a casa propria, disponibile, educatissima, simpatica e con un savoir-faire che ti affascina. Non da meno i suoi colleghi e colleghe, in sala Eva, Kevin e Darwin con la loro educazione hanno reso le colazioni e le cene super piacevoli, non dimenticheremo facilmente l’affetto del loro sorriso. Ottimo il cibo, abbondante e con una varietà da soddisfare anche chi della cucina mediterranea non ne capisce un tubo.

Golden Beach is a lovely, clean hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The pool is on the roof and is not very big but there was never any rushing to get a sunbed. The door to the pool is unlocked at 9am so don’t bother going until then. Room 518 is on the same level as the pool, when you come out of the door you can see the door to the pool. The bathroom is big, however the shower cubicle is on the small side. The balcony is small too and gets very warm because of the AC unit outside. The view is part sea and street but when the balcony door was closed we couldn’t hear the main road. The breakfast was nice, with lots of choice. We only had the evening meal once but that was also good. As we had checked out, we could only pay for our water by card, there was no option to pay with cash.

Nice clean hotel, side sea view room fantastic room of sea and mountains, balcony big enough for 2, beds comfortable changed every other day. Bathroom small clean very functional, modern and great shower. food was nice for half board replenished plenty and and food areas clean. All staff in hotel very welcoming and friendly. hotel roof pool fantastic view. only complaint, guests leaving towels on sunbeds and not using beds for most of day which I always find inconsiderate to other guests looking for a sun bed . Other draw back no fault of hotel inconsiderate guests running along corridors at night shouting and knocking on doors who I assumed were in the same party. Also note that you would need to pay for Sun loungers on beach which were 20 euros a day for a pair plus sun lounger which I thought was quite a bit out of your holiday budget if you went everyday. We did enjoy the hotel well done to the staff and we have already booked to come back next year with Jet 2

Prima hotel, modern, schoon, goed eten, alleen waren de douchecabines erg klein, bijna niet te doen om normaal te douchen. Goede locatie. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
