I was disappointed with my stay at Hotel B. While you can't fault the location, the staff were the most unfriendly we encountered in the whole of Peru. Plus they charged us the equivalent of an additional night stay to check in early - and then didn't give us access to our room for another 1.5 hours. Felt a bit churlish.

Hotel B es una mansión antigua espectacular en el área de Barranco. Una casa que se nota el trabajo que ha tomado para que llegue al buen estado en que está. Obviamente se ha adaptado para ser un hotel hoy en día, pero lo han logrado muy bien. El servicio espectacular en todas las áreas, lobby, restaurante, masajes. El desayuno incluido completísimo, inclusive para el café se puede pedir espresso, americano, lo que uno quiera. Hay una hora el té en la tarde, con tés variados y cosas para comer, muy completo. Las habitaciones espaciosas, el techo más alto que he estado en una habitación de hotel. El área de Barranco en general no diría que es la más atractiva de Lima, pero está en una calle sin salida muy simpática.

Well located in Barranco this hotel offers excellent service and food. The breakfast was great and afternoon tea was a welcome touch after a busy day out. There is a nice bar downstairs and also one on the roof. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The road next to the hotel is very busy day and night so make sure all the double glazing is shut or request a room away from the road if possible as it is very noisy.
