We loved staying at Second Home. The house is old and lovely, and the art all around you is wonderful. We felt like we were living in a beautiful art museum. You can also paya small amount to visit the artist's studio and meet him- he is 96, so hurry up! And that was really amazing. The views from the hotel are unbelievable- a view of the ocean, the cliffs, the beach, and some sculptures in the foreground. The staff were very nice and helped us with many things. Walking around the area was safe and fun, even at night, and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. There is no way anywhere else in the city could be this nice.

Very cute hotel in a cute location, centrally located for exploring in Barranco on foot, including being walking distance to Bajada de Baños (where much of the street art is) and restaurants like Isolina. Breakfast was delicious, with very fresh warm bread. We stayed in Mirador 1, which had a great terrace with ocean view.

Myself and my wife stayed here for the last 3 nights of our Peru holiday. Just wanted somewhere to wind down after our adventures. Had one the rooms on the cliff edge with balcony looking out over the sea. The hotel arranged an extremely reasonable airport collection for us. When we arrived we were checked in promptly and taken to our room. We were very happy with the quality and the split level feature with the bathroom upstairs. Can be tricky in the night though. The weather was very misty and murky really, which was unfortunate, so we didn't really use the balcony much. The hotel is very quirky and nice. Possibly tries to be a little too posh (for me) but a lot of people would like the ambience. Breakfast was nice, but the same every day if you are there for a while. Just outside the hotel are some lovely restaurants and its a nice stroll down to the seafront past old buildings and some more restaurants. The hotel is in a good location and safe. Would I recommend the hotel for a short stay. Definitely.

This place is the nicest hotel we stayed at during our entire trip. The breakfast is great, the rooms are luxurious, the view is unbeatable. The location is on a street of restaurants (one of them being Isolina). Though I liked Tio Mario better. The area is touristy so you won't find an authentic alfajor, but I would highly recommend this hotel. My only gripe is that the check-out is at 10am. It's strange because it is not a large hotel and the check-in is at 3pm. Most hotels let you check out at noon.

Second Home Peru is an extraordinary place to stay: full of charm and beauty, but also wonderfully convenient for many of the best restaurants and bars of Miraflores. The place is filled with the art and character of Victor Delfin, one of Peru’s best-known artists. But it’s not a museum. We were very comfortable in our rooms, and well looked-after by the staff. Breakfasts were great and so were the drinks in the well-appointed bar. We would happily go back at any time. There are few places with such a mixture of beauty, location and service. We had kids with us and they loved running around the garden - an added bonus.

Gorgeous property in Barranco Lima decorated with art by Victor Delfin. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms with high ceilings. We were in room 1 with a garden view. It had a large bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower. Sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep. The grounds are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening pisco sour while enjoying the ocean. The staff is very helpful and always on hand. The breakfasts were delicious - bacon and eggs, fruit, warm bread, juice and a hot drink. I highly recommend this place.

In una posizione comodissima e tranquilla di Barranco, a picco sul mare, è una splendida casa con viste incredibili sull’oceano, opere d’arte ovunque. Letto comodissimo, colazione semplice ma perfetta. Roberto è stato attento ad ogni cosa e gentilissimo, così come le signore della cucina e tutto il personale. Vorrei già tornare!!

We stayed here on our last night in Peru, it’s a shame we didn’t have more time! This is a beautiful and interesting property with lots to look at. We had a sea view room which was lovely, the bed was comfortable and staff were helpful arranging transport for us to go to the beach & to the airport. The local area was great, I would have enjoyed more time to explore but we only had time for a quick walk & a meal in Awicha which was fabulous!
