Todo excelente en el hotel, desde la recepcion y el trato de front desk, hasta el desayuno. Excelente ubicacion cerca de todo en Barranco, lejos del bullicio de la ciudad y su frenetico trafico, muy recomendable para familias y parejas, como tambien para viajes solo.

Very charming boutique hotel at a very good location close to Barranco bars and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable rooms, good size. Would recommend to avoid room adjacent to reception as can be noisy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty average in our opinion.

Tasteful clean rooms in elegant building with art gallery. Safe and beautiful neighborhood with all good food and cafes around in walking distance. Staff ALL are very very friendly and helpful. Excellent team. 1 ultra great staff has to be named - Rose, yiu are the best!

Fui con mi familia para el Buffet del día del padre. Ramiro atendió mi reserva, fue muy educado, atento a las necesidades de mi familia, atento a los detalles, oportuno y con mucho tino y criterio, muy amable. Al llegar ya nos esperaban con la mesa lista, nos saludaron, le dieron un regalo a mi papá por su día. Todo en el buffet estaba muy rico, reponían rápidamente lo que se acababa. Los chilcanos de Gerardo estuvieron increíbles! Y la atención de Mónica impecable, el resto de las chicas también, pero no recuerdo su nombre. La música en vivo top! Y los ceviches que prepararon estaban buenazos! Una super experiencia que pienso repetir para una próxima ocasión ♥

We were booked into Casa Republica in Barranco by our agent. The hotel is stylish and we mostly enjoyed staying here. There are two buts, however. First of all, the breakfast selection was not very exciting. No cereals, limited hot dishes apart from eggs, not much fruit. Secondly, I left one pair of trousers at reception for clearing. They told me they did not know how much it would cost, but that they would be back by 9 pm that night. They weren't. The next day when I collected they told me that it was 60 soles, totally exorbitant. I queried this on check out but they wouldn't make any concession, saying that the laundry probably had to wash them separately incurring higher energy costs, had to pay taxes, etc etc. So if they knew how their laundry operated, they probably had a shrewd Idea what they'd be charging me but had not shared the information. It felt like a complete rip-off. It spoiled the experience for us. My fault for entrusting washing to them but still but some good will on the part of the hotel in the name of customer service/relations would have gone a long way.
