Centrally located hotel, ideal for sightseeing and just a few metro stops from the Mauroy Stadium.
The decor is revisited vintage, with beautiful chandeliers.
The bathroom door in the 206 is problematic; there's not enough space. The bathroom and showerhead are unclean.
The floor is carpeted over creaky parquet flooring.
Water dispensers are available on all floors, and the hotel is air-conditioned.
The staff was welcoming.
Great breakfast, with the cheese shortbread.
The rooftop opens at 4 p.m. The cocktails are good but relatively expensive for a provincial town: 16-18, 7 for a Coke. The view is disappointing.

All the staff very nice at all times and very helpful. Our room was very spacious well decorated and clean. The bar area was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too lots of choices.

Despite its undeniably charming location in the heart of the city, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. What stood out: - Room hygiene was below expectations, with insects present during our stay. - The shower was non-operational, causing significant inconvenience. - Customer service left much to be desired: the reception staff was unresponsive and unable to assist with our concerns. - Given the central location and the hotel’s reputation, we expected a much higher standard of both service and maintenance. Overall, this hotel is overrated.

Excellent hotel, centrally located on the square with a gorgeous roof top. Staff is wonderful, attentive and helpful. I changed from a superior room to a room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the square, which was lovely. The rooftop bar is open until midnight and a great place to hangout.
