Apartment Tou T Confort, in the Heart of Old Lille, Balconnet

Did not meet expectations. For a number of reasons, we did not stay at this property, but chose to go to a hotel instead. While the apartment seemed clean, there were cleaning products unstored giving the apartment an unclean, cluttered feel. There were some communication issues, but some of those were my fault. Having lived in Paris, we understand many buildings house offices as well as residences. However, this building seemed to be all offices except for this one apartment. It was outside the city center and difficult to get to. The biggest issue with the property was security of our belongings. The apartment is in a building that held businesses. From the lift you go into a locked corridor but there is no lock between the apartment and the business that is operated from the same corridor. At a mnimum a lock on the apartment door is needed to secure it from others who have access to the cooridor. We did not feel good about leaving our electronics, cash and passports in an unlocked apartment. As a result, we chose to move to a hotel. Upon contact with the owner, we received no apology or understanding of our concerns. Don't go here!
