Ramada by Wyndham Ligonier

They do a decent job keeping this older property up to standard. Breakfast more that adequate. Beds/linens solid.A/C and water excellent. Comes down to value, book directly and ask for best rate. Might be only game in town during busy summer and fall weekends

Frank made me feel so valued and welcome when I checked in, which I appreciate more than I can say! I enjoyed my stay overall and would return. I felt safe and was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was fine and included hot items, and the separate breakfast room was pleasant. My room was clean and there was adequate water pressure in the shower. The small pool was a welcome treat on a hot day. Unfortunately there is no way around the reality that this property is old and tired. The lobby has a musty smell. I could not use the exercise room because the fluorescent lights were not working, and it also had a damp odor. Even though it appeared that my room had been renovated, the renovation just doesn't cut it. For example, as regards the modern need to charge our many devices and plug in our laptop, the "new" outlets near the bed were loose (so the charger bricks would not stay in) and there was no available outlet at the desk area without unplugging something else. My sheer curtains had rips. The air conditioning unit was working but I found it hard to find a comfortable temperature -- it was either blowing freezing air, or hot and humid.

Peeling paint, mold issues, overall just a run-down shell of what was once probably a fine place. Staff not helpful, hotel solicited text questions but then didn't reply. Pool needed work. Parking is extremely limited. Breakfast was said to start at 6:30 but there was no food upon opening.

This property is right in the heart of Ligonier so you can easily walk into town. Our rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. However the interior and exterior is shabby and needs alot of improvement. We had to force Our door ooeneach time we entered and exited because it was swollen shut fro the moisture. Halws rugs were dirty. Entry foyer between the doors had a horrible smell. Breakfast was sad. Staff was friendly and tried hard to be helpful and understanding.

We went to our room and then left to see the area. When we returned to our room, our tv would not work properly. The gentleman, Mark, working at the front desk; came to our room and did everything to make the tv work. When it wouldn't, he moved us to an upgraded room at no extra charge. He made sure everything was perfect in the new room. He was so gracious and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, too. Great location to walk in Ligonier. We will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Ligonier.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I had issue with the musty smell of the lobby and my room. There were stains on the side of the mattress and also on two of the walls going into the bathroom. When I got into bed it smelled like the comforter needed cleaned as when I folded it down the sheets smelled clean.
