Ramada by Wyndham Ligonier

Frank made me feel so valued and welcome when I checked in, which I appreciate more than I can say! I enjoyed my stay overall and would return. I felt safe and was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was fine and included hot items, and the separate breakfast room was pleasant. My room was clean and there was adequate water pressure in the shower. The small pool was a welcome treat on a hot day. Unfortunately there is no way around the reality that this property is old and tired. The lobby has a musty smell. I could not use the exercise room because the fluorescent lights were not working, and it also had a damp odor. Even though it appeared that my room had been renovated, the renovation just doesn't cut it. For example, as regards the modern need to charge our many devices and plug in our laptop, the "new" outlets near the bed were loose (so the charger bricks would not stay in) and there was no available outlet at the desk area without unplugging something else. My sheer curtains had rips. The air conditioning unit was working but I found it hard to find a comfortable temperature -- it was either blowing freezing air, or hot and humid.

Not a good choice for the price. It is clean and well furnished, but the toilet seat in our unit was so low to the ground that I could hardly stand up again. The breakfast offerings are adequate but not very good quality. Breakfast is served in a tiny room that gets extremely crowded and noisy. Their Wi-Fi was out of service from 4:00 pm to the next day during one day of our 3-day stay.

Beautiful, spacious and clean room. Staff was especially helpful and encouraging as I was there to attend the funeral of a beloved family member. The only negative aspect was that the shower switch came off and it was difficult to get the shower to full force. I pointed this out to housekeeper and she agreed to have it repaired.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that the outside light was directly above our window and we couldn’t get the room dark.

It's okay My room was clean, but overall, I would say the facility seems tired and in need of an update.
