First impressions of the hotel is it is in a good location there is parking at £4.50 a day next door however if you are just staying overnight there are roads nearby you can park till 11am for free. The place has a lovely park nearby which my little one loved running around. Customer service was half and half initially on checking in I was ignored by an older lady she didn’t even acknowledge I was waiting for her - this happened twice initially I had difficulty self checking in, then to have a go on the raffle (which is a brilliant idea). I understand she was busy but common decency would be to acknowledge I was waiting. This was until a young lady called Chloe came over to help, she was also amazing when my little one was sick and turned the whole experience around which is why they review is 5 rating than 2 stars. My little one was so taken with her she was calling Chloe every time she saw her! Worked the till 12am shift. We had the breakfast cause we were using the hotel as a stepping stone for the rest of our journey. The breakfast I felt was definitely overpriced for what it was. It was nice enough but at £10.99 or £8.99 for the continental it was expensive.

The Hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff were fantastic, friendly ans very accommodating, resolving our additional requests immediately. We stayed in an accessible room which had all the adaptations needed. All in all great value for money and a really great place to stay

always stay at this premier inn because the staff make the stay worth while! Went to the cathedral for the candlelight night which is only a short walk from there. Rooms spotless as always, breakfast was lovely - thank you Faye for your lovely poached eggs once again! Can’t wait to be back.

Not sure if I got the last room available or not - but it was a disabled room with no opening window and zircon that wasn't functioning on a really hot Friday night. I was comp'd breakfast in acknowledgement that the zircon wasn't working - which I initially thought was fair, but given the heat and an average breakfast I regret not getting a refund on checkin and heading elsewhere. Its convenient to the town centre and paid multi-storey next door for parking.

Great customer care. Central location. Clean, comfortable. What’s not to like! My friend is a regular guest and I’ll be staying again too!

Well what can I say! I came here for a business trip for 5 days for training and after my long days it was lovely to come back to a lovely atmosphere of all the staff! I want to mention Chef Tracey especially as every morning she would make me feel so welcome and made me feel enthusiastic for the day ahead! She is one lovely lady! But not just her! All the staff were lovely and friendly but also I have never slept in such a comfy bed in all my life! It was like a magic bed where I just fell asleep so easily and was so comfy throughout the night!

The room was booked almost a year in advance , it cost £400 pounds , the room was shabby and tired and nothing like i expected for the price ! There was one chair in the room , no table to sit around ! Basically it was rubbish and a rip off ! I'll never use them again. May as well have booked a supposedly lower branded hotel ! The restaurant area is cramped and over tired too ! Only positive was the staff , lovely , but they should all work elsewhere !
