We decided to stay with this hotel because of the highly positive reviews. We did make a right choice as our overall experience was so great. The hotel is newly renovated, the room is spacious, bright, clean and the mattress and pillows are super comfy to sleep with (this is very important for us as we don’t usually sleep well when travelling). We had a breezed morning jog along the river right in front of the hotel. The experience was really good and relax. The host provided white glove services such as VIP transport to/from train station and tourist spots. Special thanks to the staffs who helped to send our leftover baggage to train station so we didn’t miss the train.  Bonus point: We witnessed the beautiful moment of sunset at their roof top (see the attached photo). This will definitely be our first choice hotel in our next visit in Libo.

Location: Although the hotel is not far from the entrance of the scenic area, it is also located relatively close to the commercial district, close to the highway and next to the parking lot. It is recommended for those who drive to stay here. If you travel by public transportation, contact the boss in advance and go back to the station to pick you up. The hotel's facilities and decoration are in Japanese style with logs, giving it a bright and clean feeling when you enter. There is an elevator, but it is small. If you have luggage, two people should go at a time. The service was super good. The proprietress was especially nice, beautiful, enthusiastic and generous. She even sent us to the Yao Village and then took us to the station. If you go to Xiaoqikong, I still recommend her restaurant. By the way, if you don't charge admission, you can go and take a look and take some photos of the Yao Village. It's very beautiful, like a small village in a paradise. But it's not worth spending 50 yuan for the entrance ticket plus the sightseeing bus fare. I don't recommend it. And it's hard to get a taxi when you come out. They are all illegal taxis, and they cost ten yuan per person.

It is definitely a very cost-effective and experience-high homestay. When I checked in, the proprietress introduced another room with a better view. At first glance, I liked it very much. I immediately made up a little money and transferred it to the room called ”Suqiu”. The landscape can be said to be more beautiful than what you see on the Internet. You can see the east gate of Xiaoqikong outside the window. Although it is in the scenic area, it is very quiet and comfortable. The thick soundproof glass of the room should be remembered. The boss is really a decoration. The room design is stylish, the materials are high-end, clean and hygienic, and the whole house is smart. It feels like a five star! The boss and the proprietress are warm and hospitable, with delicious coffee and welcome fruit, and the service attitude is first-class. The breakfast at the homestay is delicious. After eating, the boss has a good time to drive us to the high-speed rail station, which is very intimate. In summary, everyone goes to Xiaoqikong to play, and it is highly recommended to stay at Shanyeshan B&B.

There are welcome fruits, and delicious sweet soup is delivered in the evening. After we checked out, we were given water and fruit while waiting for departure in the lobby. As soon as we entered the hotel, we felt a different style and taste. The lobby has a lot of ethnic characteristics. The front desk upgraded our room because we brought children. The room is clean, tidy and transparent. The toilet and bathroom are separated into dry and wet areas. The water flow for the bath is very strong. The whole house is smart. It is very close to the east gate of the Big and Small Seven-hole Caves. The breakfast is also rich and clean. In short, it is very comfortable to stay here. If I have time to come to the Small Seven-hole Caves again in the future, I will choose this hotel again.

Thank you to the boss for upgrading our room for free during the off-season and explaining to us the itinerary of the scenic spot. The decoration style of the B&B is quite nice. At the same time, the room environment is quite good and the hygiene is very clean. There are also free services in the room. I bought disposable bath towels and instantly felt that the boss was very considerate of his customers. The breakfast at the B&B is also quite good. The minced meat rice noodles and rice cakes in the B&B are worth trying. The accommodation experience this time is quite good and it is worth recommending.
