It seemed fine when we arrived. The bar, restaurant and beer garden are nice. But when we went to bed we realised a huge and very noisy outlet for the aircon for the whole hotel was right outside our window. We couldn’t get to sleep. Plus the lies on the hotel’s own website about an on-site cafe open from 7:30 where we expected to get breakfast .., IT WAS SHUT! There is no-where to get breakfast!!!

Received a phone call from the property at 7pm on the night of the stay to claim the room was not available due to a leak. The room should have been available to check into from 3pm however this was the first time I was contacted, very poor customer service. Offered to change accommodation to a clamping pod or look elsewhere for somewhere to stay. Obviously at such short notice and needing somewhere for the night messing around trying to find alternative accommodation not practical so took the pod. It was a bed for the night with a shared toilet and shower, nothing much more to say. When I checked in the staff seemed to know nothing about a leak in the original room??? No clear directions for use of the pod given, merely took full payment and sent on my way.

Not personally wondefull too small
Stay was ok. Could do with a Fan and a Mini Fridge. Bed was way too soft mattress wise and didn't like the hard wooden bed frame and headboard. Soon was I walked in I bashed my Shin on the bed Grazing it. Had to plug in the TV and Kettle as wasn't plugged in. (Not enough plug sockets. Shower hadn't been cleaned properly still hair in shower from someonelses stay. Heated towel rail didn't turn on. Tv too far away from bed and very small to see could do with being wall mounted nearer to the bed. Very easy to bash arms on side tables so be careful when in bed.

Very disappointing visit full of very poor customer service examples I’m afraid. Immediately after ordering we were delivered coffee when there wasn’t time to have made the tea requested. It must be what we irdered as it was for our table?? The toaster arrived it was warm bread. I can give it a little longer but you will lose your cheese. Now we’ve had 60+ years of toasties and never had this comment. So second grilling wasn’t much better. See photo. We were abruptly told that the hot water to dilute the builders brew would be brought when the other girl found some time. Sorry can’t recommend and won’t be back. Shame as the grounds are in a superb setting. Staff training urgently required.

We were staying for the night and had a good time in the pup the Mill. Austin and Izzy were greate host's, fun, fast an professional. The pup is saparate from the hotel accommodation so no noise if you want to go in early. We will come back next time.

Pleasant, comfy stay
Check in was smooth ( you need to check in at the bar as there is no separate reception).The room was clean and I found the double bed comfy .

I keep going back.
Stay here regularly, clean modern rooms, not noisy, close to various places to eat. Tea & coffee provided, an Ironing board if you need it, and a TV, with decent showers in all the rooms (I've tried!)

Work stay
Great hotel very comfortable bed. All seems new and clean.
Just 2 little things, the bathroom floor creaked so felt bad for my neighbors in the night and couldn't seem to turn the heating down in the bathroom, so it was very hot.
