La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington South / Hamburg

The hotel is located right off the expressway, which is great. Kristina at the front desk was friendly and very helpful with the check in process. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations. The room we stayed in had been updated and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

Checking in and out was very quick and easy. All staff was very friendly. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We walked in to a complete construction zone in the lobby. Our room was very nicely renovated inside, with exception of torn up hallway on the way to our room. Breakfast was a bag of highly processed foods in a bag. No notification of renovation

Great location. Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfy, but some detail cleaning is needed in the hallways and elevators. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. We're pretty picky people and would stay again. Nice that it is pet friendly too.

The property was a decent price. It was pet friendly, which I did not realize at the time of booking. I was concerned about the location to the highway, breakfast and having a couch available to sleep on. The room was a suite, near the elevator. We asked if we could have one away from this high traffic location, but she said all the suites are by the elevator. The elevator smelled like wet dog and i think there was a dog treat in there the day we arrived. i used the elevator the next day and the dog treat was still there. That speaks volumes about how often they clean. The room was outdated with various repairs near the ceiling. I am guessing they had a leak at some point. There were ants in the room. I killed a few, but hours later more showed up. There was a dog next to us that kept barking periodically. It didn't keep us up at night, but it was annoying. The bathroom was totally remodeled so apparently they spent all their money there which was nice. The rest of the place didn't match at all. But I felt clean after taking a shower. The mattress in the couch was a joke. It was super thin and all you could see were the springs. It didn't look like there was any cushion. I had my son cover the couch cushions with the extra sheet and he slept on that instead. Breakfast was fine. standard eggs, bacon and waffle maker, which was what I expected. I didn't like that the animals could be in the dining area. it was 1 night. I wont be back.

Nice spot to stop overnight and swim! The hotel was clean with only a few details missed. Some of The towels were formed into bunnies which the kids loved. While the hotel was a little dated it was still nice and the breakfast was really good. We enjoyed our stay and the pool was fantastic!
