We stayed here for one night. My husband & I feel this Hampton was a newer version and very nice. This one also had an actual soap dish & a place to hang a hand towel at the sink. I usually don't see these 2 items at most hotels. I hope more hotels will consider adding them. We were checked in by Jennifer who was outstanding. She answered all of our questions & provided some info on where to get local barbecue. Also there let us know there were lots of other type eateries close by including a Freddy's Frozen Custard shop where we got dessert. This Hampton is close to I-85, maybe a half mile off so we didn't hear any highway noise. It was quiet. It had a nice pool. Breakfast was the usual buffet at a Hampton.

I picked this hotel to stay at for one night because it was close by to my friend's wedding venue. The family of the bride provided the information months in advance because they reserved a room block for guests traveling in, and said there would be a shuttle to take us to the venue, so I had called and created a reservation back in May. Fast forward to the DAY BEFORE I'm flying in for the wedding in August, I called the Customer Care phone number to confirm the reservation, but the gentleman I spoke with COULD NOT FIND IT AT ALL and was so confused with what a "room block" was. Once that was resolved, he confirmed that there WOULD BE a shuttle to take me to the venue. The next day, I flew in and arrived at the lobby to find NO ONE sitting at the front desk. If you knew there were many people checking in that day for an event, wouldn't you be responsible enough to keep someone at the desk?!?! Finally after I had gotten a maintenance worker to get someone, this woman took 5 minutes to come out, strolled slowly over and didn't even apologize for her lack of service (I later learned that SHE IS THE MANAGER!!) While she was checking me in, I specified that I’m part of the wedding room block and asked her about the shuttle, and she HAD NO IDEA what I was talking about. I tried to explain, but she just kept shutting me down and repeating how there’s no shuttle. I was getting SO FRUSTRATED because she WASN’T OFFERING ANY WAY TO HELP me (like a real respectable manager would), so I asked her to call the mother of the bride, which she did, and when she didn't answer she just hangs up the phone and says to me “she didn't answer". So I now had to be the one to tell her how to do her job and asked her to call back again and leave a voicemail, and she hands me the phone for me to do it (because yea sure that's MY job). When I got the mother of the bride on the phone, she explained that it'd be through a separate service that would be coming to the hotel. So the HOTEL MANAGER was able to find the mother of the bride's phone number, but couldn't just take a few more minutes to check her system to see if there was anything about a shuttle coming to the hotel SHE MANAGES to pick up her guests?!?!?! SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. Now onto my arrival to my room….at the FIRST GLANCE it looked clean, didn't smell, carpet wasn't stained, very tidy, so I thought I would be able to let go of the EXTREME LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. As I'm getting ready to go down to the lobby, I found a SOILED ADULT DIAPER shoved in the back of where FRESH TOWELS were held under the sink!!!! But it doesn't even end there, because later that night when I got back and was getting ready to go to sleep, one of the bed pillows had HUGE RED STAINS (was possibly DRIED BLOOD!!!) on the back of it. When checking out, I explained what happened in the DISGUSTING room to the manager and asked for a refund, but she just said "oh you're going to have to speak with my general manager about t

I had a very quiet stay. I had an overall clean room, the shower could’ve used extra attention. But what made it great is the staff! The lady who check me in was so friendly and made great dinner recommendations. The lady who check me out was also nice but was extra helpful to me when I forgot an item in my room. She went up got it and held it for me all day until I was able to get back to get it. That’s customer service!

The niece and nephew (perhaps 6 and 8 years old) of the front desk gentleman play unsupervised in this hotel, including jumping on the ellipticals and throwing weights in fitness center. The 6 yo (accidentally) launched off the back of the treadmill and almost kicked me in the head while I was doing floor exercises. I asked them to stop before they hurt someone and the 8 year old boy proceeded to start yelling at me that he can do whatever he wants. The other guest actually left because he didn't feel comfortable being in there with them and no cameras. Another employee of the hotel, Stormy, came in the gym to say they play in the fitness center unsupervised "all the time" and proceeded to harass me for having a problem with it. Never stay there again. Ask for low floor near elevator, as I'm disabled. got top floor all the way to end of hall. first night had rain storm, roof drain system leaked and banged on window sill for 1.5 hours. Was told at 3:30 AM we could change room: we were in a suite and move would be to regular room: but had to be right then (3:30 AM ?) alarm clock didn't work, put in for wake up call at 7:00 AM. call came at 5:45 AM. Hilton member so should have had internet. Sorry can't help Next morning ask about moving room, was told they would have maintenance come look at room. Ask when they said don't know maintenance. wasn't in yet, never did see them. Ask about the internet person on desk was really rude and said I can't help with that. Called hampton corporate to see if they could help or let me complain was told since I was in hotel, I couldn't complain till after I left. Told to contact manager. We stayed thursday to monday. manager took friday off and wasn't due back till Monday after we were gone. Some help there Sunday afternoon we were told by another desk clerk they could move us to another room. I declined as we were leaving early the next morning
