I NEVER leave reviews, but our recent stay at this hotel was so troubling, I feel compelled to warn others. On Monday night, June 16th, 2025, around midnight to 1 a.m., my family and I experienced something that no paying hotel guest should ever have to deal with. We were abruptly woken up in the middle of the night by an aggressive and inappropriately dressed front desk attendant — a larger woman wearing short shorts and a tank top — banging violently on our door. She accused us of making a banging noise, which wasn’t coming from our room at all. After yelling at us, and threatening to kick us out, she stormed off down the hallway, loudly cussing about us as she went back to what we later realized was her personal room within the building. To top it off, on the night we checked in, the building lost power for a couple of hours. During that time, this same employee was seen cussing out several Spanish gentlemen simply for being outside and was overheard saying it didn’t matter what she said “because they can’t understand me anyway.” She also yelled at multiple guests that evening while walking around in her same shorty shorts and tank top, accompanied by a young curly haired girl in jean shorts and a t-shirt — both of whom gave off a confrontational and unprofessional attitude. As if that wasn’t unsettling enough, we also noticed her spending time outside the hotel entrance with a man — presumably her boyfriend or husband — and that man was bragging openly about his prison time and his recent “dumb bullsh*t drug charges” “and beating someones a**” for telling on him or something, on a phone call right outside the building’s main entrance as we were returning from dinner and this employee standing right there agreeing with him and making her own threats about the situation. This kind of openly aggressive talk in front of guests was completely inappropriate and deeply concerning. If a hotel chooses to have staff live on-site, they should at least ensure those staff members are trained to carry and conduct themselves professionally. What we experienced was the complete opposite — a chaotic, uncomfortable environment where guests are treated rudely, publicly embarrassed, and exposed to disturbing conversations and behavior that have no place in a hospitality setting. The only positive aspect of our stay was the rooms are clean and quite spacious and the pleasant managers we encountered when we attempted to raise our concerns. Unfortunately, when we went to the office, the front desk employee we had issues with was sitting right next to them. Given her aggressive nature and the questionable presence of her partner, who openly discusses illegal activity, we didn’t feel safe filing a complaint in person — so we made our excuses and returned to our room. The only reason I feel comfortable writing this review now is because we’re due to check out in the morning, but we’ve decided it’s best to leave early. Beware. If you cannot check in for whatever reason the same day you book, they will still nail you the rate for the night. Pretty disappointing in the choices management has made, in that regard. A racket. Called front desk and they claimed the cancelation policy was stated in the website. It was, but evidently not the particular policy for this location.

They waited to tell me no cats after I paid then took 10 days to get money back, and they don't take cash

The staff was stellar and the best part of the experience. No incentive to come back: no breakfast or food in the area. It's not dirty, but it needs renovations asap, the parking lot is dark and sketchy, and the sheets in the bedroom were worn and had stains. If you desperately need a place to stay, it will do for only one night.
