As ever, we were made really welcome - tea and chocolate cake when we arrived were just right after a long journey. The rooms are spotless and breakfast is a real treat. Our 4th visit and we nothing to improve our stay.

An absolutely wonderful B&B - large, luxurious rooms, beautifully equipped and furnished, with a lovely sitting room and garden for relaxation, and excellent breakfast. The location is so peaceful, yet close to many attractions in Sussex and Kent. Ann and Martin are the perfect hosts and made us so welcome, we certainly hope to come back one day to visit more of this lovely part of the country.

A beautiful home with luxurious fittings and furnishings, comfortable beds and everything you might want for a delightful stay in the Sussex countryside. Ideal for visiting Glyndbourne or many other castles and gardens, even Pooh Sticks bridge!

We just stayed for 2 nights for our sons wedding in Lewes. We cannot fault the service, accommodation, food, location or the hosting. If this was 4 in a bed it would be 10’s all the way. Rooms are huge and amenities second to none, including fantastic Dyson fans in the room. I would go back in a flash, Thank You Ann& Martin we will definitely be back.

Our party of four adults stayed at The White Lodge for our Glyndebourne weekend and were absolutely delighted with the bucolic setting, immaculate accommodation, delicious breakfasts, and wonderful hosts, Ann and Martin. We were treated to coffee/ tea and homemade cake when we arrived which revived us. Our rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well appointed as well as very quiet. We would recommend The White Lodge without hesitation and look forward to staying there again.

Ann and Martin were welcoming, hospitable and helpful (they even helped us put together our son's birthday cake!). Really comfortable, spacious room, well-thought-out with useful equipment such as charging blocks. Excellent breakfast with every choice you can think of!

The White Lodge fully deserves the kudos it gets. Ann and Martin run a wonderful B and B. The house and furnishings are modern, of high quality, immaculate and comfortable. Our room was large, quiet, well appointed, and had a view of their beautiful garden. Ann and Martin are friendly hosts with loads of information about the area. The breakfasts were excellent with many options to choose from. As a small but telling example of the quality you'll get at White Lodge, in many places a "fruit salad" for breakfast would probably consist of some melon pieces, grapes, and maybe a few wilted strawberries or pineapple chunks. Ann's fruit salad was a huge bowl of the freshest strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Ann and Martin are accommodating hosts who really do know how to run a B and B. The White Lodge is out in the countryside. Though it's not that far from Lewes or Glyndebourne, you'll need a car or a taxi to get there.

The accommodation was brilliant. Large rooms with first rate facilities made for a really comfortable stay. Large beds with top quality bedding,together with the rural setting, meant a good night’s sleep was guaranteed. Couple all this with a splendid breakfast and you have the perfect upmarket b&b provided by friendly hosts who couldn’t have need more helpful. White Lodge is by far the best b&b we have ever had the good fortune to visit and I would be happy to recommend it to anybody thinking of a break near Lewes.
