The Totara Lodge was a good choice for our one night stay in Levin. It is in a quiet location just to the west of the main street, and in easy walking distance to dining options and supermarkets. The room had everything we needed and was clean and tidy.
Can recommend the local Som Thum Thai on the main street if you’re looking for a quick meal (good food, licensed, good service).

Great place and great customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the 9th March. Susan pearl & mark green your motel is lovely, clean and comfortable, after a long drive from Auckland it was lovely to have a great rest at your motel & lots of room for my mother in law with her walking aid to move around. We had great stay with our pet (dog.). Our dog was allowed to stay inside of unit with extra $20. Most of “pet allowed” motel is not allowed in unit. So we are really happy to know he can come in with us. Alex the host provided dog bowl when we check in! Bed was super comfortable, all amenities are there. Definitely stay again when we visit Levin. Highly recommended.

Good hospitality and comfortable
At check in I was greeted with a warm welcome from Bo and Jane. The room was large and although dated was clean and functional. The motel is located in a quiet street close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
