We had a lovely meal . Staff are great and good really innovative and tasty. We were late because of traffic jam but that wasn't a problem. One of the best pubs I have ever been in for pretty well everything! We have eaten here twice and both times it has been just super!

Just spent 3 fabulous nights at The Hare and Hounds. Tastefully decorated bedrooms with delightful, local toiletries, well stocked tea tray with homemade brownies. Owner and all the staff were so pleasant and helpful servings great beer and each morning a very comprehensive breakfast to suit all tastes. Dinner in the evening was delicious and served in a full pub with a great atmosphere. Definitely a great stay in peaceful Levens Hall.

Great small country pub with friendly staff and excellent food and drinks. Don’t miss the included full English breakfast, it’ll get you going for a busy day of sight seeing.

Excellent option for a few days in Kendal
We went here with the family, the host took very good care of us. Nice pub, food in the restaurant and breakfast, everything was good. The rooms were great. We had a great stay.

1 night stay on a business trip. Lovely country pub with rooms. Warm and friendly welcome from the team. Room was well designed, all the facilities needed, spotlessly clean. Team were flexible with the breakfast arrangements to fit around my timings. I will certainly return.
