Just happened to drive past. Great views of the hills. Amazing food, unfortunately no room for dessert. Lovely, friendly staff. Will visit again next time I’m in the area, need to check out dessert menu if nothing else. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Brilliant stay, only one night as travelling for work. I had my spaniel with me and the stay was faultless, I don’t often write reviews but this was fabulous and I wanted for nothing. The staff were accommodating and friendly, dinner was quick and delicious, likewise breakfast was great - highly recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs! The room was lovely, lots of room and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with a powerful shower too. Overall, I would 100% stay here again, whether it was personal or work! I will be booking again for sure! Thanks

Went for a family meal (5 in total). For me, the food was quantity over quality. 2 x curries, arancini balls, dirty fries, gammon and pizza. Portions were very large, but the curries had a strange, chemically type taste and the arancini balls were dry and greasy. Pizza was ok and dirty fries were far and above the best thing. Service was ok - on arrival the person behind the bar who gave us the menus had no idea what items contained gluten and there was no markings on the menu to say what was or wasn’t gluten free. Luckily, another member of staff knew. It took a while to take our orders (we were only one of three small groups eating). The bar was often unstaffed to get extra drinks and we had to wait at the bar to ask for our bill. Not sure what the staff were doing as the place wasn’t busy. The venue itself is great, I’ve been a few times over the years, but this was the worst experience. It’s not bad, but personally I’d rather smaller portions that tasted better.

Hello I come here for Father’s Day Sunday dinner. Absolutely vile. Spent most of the time in the waiting area baring in mind we booked for 12pm. Seen a previous review that mash was lumpy and they rewarded their toddler with a toy for not eating it. Thought it was abit deep until I went there myself! Again sat at waiting area till past 12:20 with a tired toddler due to sleep at 12 every day, but wanted to treat dad!!! I was greeted my Sunday dinner. Staff was lovely need more confidence tho. As for the food. Terrible I’m sorry but I live in jubliee close and the sooner my son starts school at age 3 the sooner I can show them all how it’s down. I’d quite happy come work for you half the price and show you how it’s all down. Get the place going The place is absolutely beautiful outside but the food is horrible and again the staff are lovely but need more confidence for Catering and catering only as the food was vile . Will not be back.
