I stayed in this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights in August 2022. The hotel is in an excellent position, practically on the sea. From the rooms overlooking the sea the panorama is wonderful. Furthermore, it is a stone's throw from the station and public transport with which to reach La Spezia or embark on the ferry to go around the islands (Palmaria, etc.). Few internal parking spaces, therefore it is strongly recommended to book them by telephone. Alternatively there is the large public outdoor car park (7€ the day ticket, provided by the hotel but for a fee) about 10 minutes away on foot. The breakfast was plentiful with the possibility of choosing between sweet and savory. Comfortable and clean rooms for a family of 3 plus a cat. Overall a great stay. Definitely a highly recommended establishment.

Hotel posizionato fronte mare con una vista pazzesca. Possibilità di usufruire della terrazza fronte hotel per andare al mare ( un po’ cara ma la zona lo consente ). Unica nota negativa la camera ci è stata data alle 15 e per noi è stato un problema avendo un cagnolino. Camera un po’ piccola e poco insonorizzata. Lo consiglio comunque!

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Shelley from the 1st to the 4th of July. We were able to secure a wonderful room with a queen size bed with a balcony overlooking the bay. Despite being a last minute booking the price was very fair. Getting to the hotel was very easy. Our train from Firenze dropped us off at Sarzana and it was a short cab ride (15 min.) from the train station. When we arrived Matteo greeted us warmly and we also learned they upgraded us to the superior suite at no charge! The suite was very nice and clean. We had a little trouble closing the door to the balcony but it was pretty much a non issue as it still cancelled out what little noise there was. The view was spectacular morning, afternoon and night. Our only issue with the balcony was that the motor controlling the umbrella was on the fritz so the sun made it somewhat hard to enjoy sitting out during the peak hours. The AC could have blown a bit harder but it worked fine enough to keep the room cold during the night. Matteo was very helpful booking us two sun chairs and umbrella in the hotels private waterfront lounge area. Reasonably priced for the time, location, and privacy. The first day we had the area all to ourselves in the morning/afternoon. We also requested a kettle for the room and Matteo left a note for the front desk associate as he did not have one on hand at the moment. When we returned later we met Gerry who was absolutely wonderful with his conversation and recommendations for places to eat in town. We have never had a more friendly and personable hotel experience and Gerry was the whole reason. When we got back he had also managed to track down a kettle and coffee cups for us which was great as we wanted to start our mornings on the balcony. The town is amazing and the hotel is perfectly located in it. Just a short stroll along the water and you are in the main square. Our three nights were not nearly enough and we are already planning our trip back! I can't speak higher about our stay and will be for sure recommending this place to our friends and family. Ottimo hotel con personale cortese e disponibile, colazione fantastica vista mare e completa di tutto, dal dolce al salato. Camera moderna, pulita e silenziosa, dotata di ogni comfort. Molto comodo anche il posto auto in garage privato. Posizione top, vicino alla spiaggia e al centro di Lerici. Di meglio non si può avere!

Hotel fronte mare in posizione centrale. Ben arredato, camera funzionale ma un po' datato e con prezzi piuttosto alti in bassa stagione rispetto il servizio offerta (mi sono stati chiesti sul posto 200 euro a notte e 15 euro al giorno per il parcheggio, per prolungare il nostro soggiorno). Lo consigliamo per lavoro o persa sola notte, non per una vacanza.
