het was ons huwelijk jubileum, we hebben fantastische dagen gehad, hotel was ook mooi versierd in de kerstfeer. ontbijt was heel goed. vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel. onze kamer was ook romantisch opgemaakt! hartelijk dank ervoor.

Weinig flexibel bij kleine wijziging menu ivm dieet. Snitzel was hard en weinig smaak. Vies bestek. Koffie lauwwarm. Prijzen zijn ook vrij hoog voor gewone kost. Kortom zeer teleurstellend.

met onze familie (14 personen) uit eten geweest. vooraf uitgebreid gereserveerd en menu's besproken. na aankomst zegt men dat het bestelde menu niet leverbaar is omdat er een nieuw menu is. Na het bestellen van nieuwe menu's komt er iemand die zegt dat het oude menu toch weer leverbaar is. Al met al duurt het erg lang. Sommige hoofdmenu's waren werkelijk smakeloos. We veel aardappels en weinig groente. Sommige menu's worden met elkaar verwisseld waardoor iemand met lactose-allergie toch bietenrisotto (90% rijst, l10% bietjes, lekker goedkoop) waar geraspte kaas overheen zit er over krijgt. En het duurt weer lang. na het hoofdgerecht moeten we bijna een half uur wachten op het dessert. Als compensatie kregen we bij het hoofdgerecht een paar aardappelgerechtjes (lekker goedkoop en het vult goed) en 1 bakje groente (voor 14 personen..!). Als ik de factuur krijg doe ik nogmaals mijn beklag. Maar dit restaurant vindt de aardappelgerechtjes en 1 bakje groente voldoende compensatie. Een kleine tegemoetkoming is kennelijk geen optie. Wij komen hier nooit meer. Er zijn veel betere Van der Valk restaurants (Nijmegen, Deventer)

Heerlijke overnachting gehad gecombineerd met een fijne dag bij de Spa. na het heerlijke diner nog een afzakkertje gedaan in de skybar. met het mooie heldere weer hadden we een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad. Service en gastvrijheid waren top!

Midden in de nacht op weg naar Schiphol was een toiletstoel hoognodig. Geen enkele benzinepomp open. Gelukkig deed de nachtmanager de deur voor ons open. Wat een held! Na een korte pitstop konden we gelukkig weer door en kwamen we op tijd op Schiphol aan.
