Excellent place for a summer visit and to celebrate the Midsummer. Leksand village and Dalarna area offers the best Midsummer celebrations in Sweden. I loved our stay in this atmospheric beautiful old manor with a wonderful garden. The room was spacious and nicely-decorated. Both the traditional Midsummer celebration and the Midsummer music festival were very close to this hotel. We had a 3-night Midsummer package which included breakfast and dinner made of Swedish specialties everyday, which which were delicious. The staff were very nice. We just wish that there had been someone at reception during checkout time. It would be a nice way to say farewell to guests. Such a small gesture, but it makes the experience so much better. After all this is a hotel, not a hostel and the package cost 1000€ for 3 nights. I'm not sure how many stars they aim to be as their advertising is a bit mixed, but possibly 3 and such a gesture would certainly be fitting at this price level.
