萊克內斯是羅佛敦的中轉站，北上斯沃爾韋爾和南下雷訥都在這裏乘車，酒店離車站步行大約六分鐘，附近有超市，房間裏除了浴巾和毛巾，其他啥都沒有，反正國外很多酒店都這樣，早餐還不錯，房間裏沒有熱水壺，但是可以在前台接熱水。房間在二樓，沒有電梯，有大件行李讓前台安排一層吧。

Praktisch ausgestattetes Zimmer. Alles ordentlich und sauber, also gute Mittelklasse. Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein großer kostenloser Parkplatz. Insgesamt eine wirklich ruhige Lage. In den Ort zu laufen, schafft man in 10 Minuten. Der Ort selbst bietet touristisch nicht sehr viel, ist aber eine ganz ausgezeichnete Basis um Region und Umfeld zu erkunden. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wirklich gut. Insbesondere schön fanden wir, dass frisches Obst immer wieder schnell nachgelegt wurde. Die Bestuhlung ist ein wenig eng, so dass es bei viel Betrieb zu gegenseitigen Behinderungen kommen kann. Das Angebot für ein Abendessen haben wir als selbst für norwegische Verhältnisse als recht teuer empfunden.

Friendly and efficient welcome. The employee offered to help us carry our suitcases since there is no elevator. Spacious suite, clean and comfortable bedding, impeccable bathroom with shower products. The only downside (as in many hotels): the carpet!!! It would need a deep cleaning, or even better, to be torn out and replaced with parquet for a simple question of hygiene. Very good meal at the restaurant in the evening, and magnificent breakfast! We will come back with pleasure.

The hotel is very old, with stained carpets, broken furniture, cables hanging all over, sheets and towels of the cheapest quality (with stains). We got their best room, the junior suite and we had: (a) a refrigerator that did not work (but was replaced within hours of checking in after explaining that we are looking to leave the hotel and a discount will not cut it) (b) a constant mechanical noise from equipment outside our window and (c) a bathroom with barely any space for a toothbrush and no space at all for a sponge or personal shower gel/shampoo etc. A terrible experience that ruined our trip.

Très grande chambre. Pour 3 personnes, la chambre offrait une chambre pour 2 plus une autre pièce séparée : top. Propre, bonne literie. Douche au très bon débit d’eau. Savons main, corps, shampooing de très bonne qualité Très bon accueil, très aimable, nous laisse payer au Check out. Petit déjeuner excellent, très bien achalandé. Préparé devant nous. Frais. Hygiène excellente: les tables sont désinfectées sérieusement entre chaque client qui prend son petit-déjeuner. Merci pour ce service et ces efforts quotidiens et permanents. PDJ ouvert de 6:30 à 10:30. Emplacement ok, pratique : il y a de très bons restaurants autour. Parking gratuit. Rien à redire. S’il fallait revenir je reviendrais ici.

Das Scandic Loknes ist ein eher schlichtes Mittelklassehaus zu gehobenem Preis. Es war ausgebucht, mit Reisebusgästen, so dass Dinner nicht zu bekommen war. Mein Zimmer war ein Doppelzimmer in Einzelnutzung. Es war grosszügig, das moderne Bad richtig schön, ein gutes Bett, bequeme Sitzgarnitur. (Upgrade, da bei „ Scandic Friends“ registriert?). Der Blick aus dem Fenster aber ging auf einen eher ungepflegten Hinterhof, zeitweise parkte ein LKW. Kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Eingang. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind offen und freundlich. Das Haus ist nett dekoriert, Getränke und Snacks kann man erstehen. Das Frühstück im belebten Raum war ordentlich und vielfältig, wurde immer nachgelegt. Schöne Brotvielfalt, gute Lebensmittel. Insgesamt war ich recht zufrieden und fühlte mich wohl. Jedoch empfinde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei 190€ als nicht angemessen, selbst wenn die Lofoten teuer sind.

The lobby is cozy and the room is okay. Not many choices for breakfast. But I was scratched by the shower head when I took off it from the wall to warm up the water. I didn’t expect there was a sharp edge on it.

This hotel is part of a large hotel chain and you get ‘the standard’ Scandinavian experience here - this is a positive point. Our room was large and well decorated and maintained to a high standard. In addition, there was a sofa (bed) in the room. Breakfast was excellent with the full range of food offer. Our only negative was the hotel being used by coach parties meaning breakfast can be hectic as everyone tries to get through in time for their scheduled departure. We could not get the tv in our room to work.
