Great little holiday park just outside amberley for a stop over between Nelson and Christchurch , right on the beach , town 5 minutes away and all the amenities you would require , will defoncome back and stay again in the future , caravan we stayed was great and a nice alternative to a hotel room

Just the most idyllic place. All the facilities are immaculate. Highly recommend if you want to have a break from world and listen to the sea on the beach. It is somewhere that we will return to time and time again. Thank you Kevin & Gail for making this a perfect break

We had such a fabulous camping trip over Labour weekend. We decided to venture not to far from home this time and we could have been miles away! Such a great camping ground with very clean facilities (and I can be fussy!) We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

Stayed for a while, the facilities were always clean and tidy. They looked after me well and I enjoyed the takeaways that are available Fridays and Saturdays. All in all a great vacation in a great environment. Would definitely visit again.

Very quiet, very sheltered and very friendly. While the amenities are getting on a bit, everything worked and spotless. We would highly recommend this camp. A very short walk to the beach, although sandy I think it might be a bit of a challenge to swim in.

just spent 8 days here with the dogs in my camper. Our hosts, Kevin and Gail were great and made us very welcome. Walks to beach gave the dogs a great time and a swim. ammenities very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. totally recomend if your family or traveling with pets. The takeaways from the caravan were very nice also

A great Holiday Park with a well equipped communal kitchen, ample showers & toilets and a pool for the little ones. Friendly staff an awesome place to stay. Amberley only 8mins away should you need groceries etc. I'd definitely recommend this value for money home away from home 😊

Charging $2 to use the showers makes the place seem undeservedly chinzy and archaic. We stayed at a lot of holiday parks and similar accommodation over the last 2.5 months and none of them had pay showers, so this place stands out, and not in a good way. I can't find any reference to paid showers on the property details of the major booking sites that I used for planning, and if it had I would have kept looking. If they insist on keeping to this policy re showers they should make it prominent on their listing on all the booking sites they are on, and let the consumers decide whether it matters to them before booking. Otherwise, the place is clean and organized, so I think they do themselves a disservice to insist on continuing to charge for showers. As it is now I wouldn't stay here again due to the shower issue, or recommend it to anyone else, and going by the reviews there are probably others who would look elsewhere before coming back too.
