Hôtel d’un autre temps. Bâtiment vétuste et mal isolé. Personnel très sympathique mais qui ne fait pas oublier la très mauvaise nuit passée dans une chambre vieillotte sans isolation thermique et phonique. La salle de restaurant a un charme désuet et les plats sont corrects. Éviter le hamburger cependant …steack douteux .. Il est temps de faire des travaux de grande ampleur pour mettre cet établissement aux normes minimales de confort ( pas de clim par exemple… température ce jour ci dans la chambre 35 degrés , fenêtre ouverte sur un parking voiture …)

Very dated, time capsule, hard bed with minimal room sound proofing from adjacent and above rooms. Could hear people peeing and flushing. Minimal power points for charging. Bed ok, shower hot. Nice location with water views. But another historic Norwegian hotel living off the location and not investing in the facility.

Malgré les efforts du personnel, très aimable et à l’écoute, d’une décoration audacieuse (on aime ou pas !), mais plutôt sympa, d’un breakfast de bonne tenue, la vétusté des lieux est beaucoup trop importante pour apprécier cet hôtel et empêche de lui donner la moyenne. Chambre vieillotte, sentant la poussière. De notre point de vue, il est urgent d’engager les investissements qui s’imposent pour que le niveau de qualité et de finition des chambres soit en ligne avec le reste des prestations. Pour nous, l’étape la moins agréable de notre voyage.

Beautiful old hotel with a fantastic restaurant and gorgeous view of the fjord. There is access to kayaks and a sauna (the hot tub was out of order when we were there) for a fee.
