Hier wordt gastvrijheid met hoofdletters geschreven! Ontbijt , zeer verzorgd! Mini-koelkast gevuld (gratis) Om 15.00 uur koffie/thee met cake( gratis) 0m 17.00 kleine hapjes ( gratis) Bij vertrek kregen we nog water mee voor onderweg.

Leer is een verrassend leuk stadje met een gezellige haven, mooie winkels en interessante gebouwen, Dit hotel is gevestigd in een voormalig pakhuis, direct aan de haven. Na de verbouwing ontstond daar een comfortabele en sfeervolle verblijfsruimte. Oude houten en stenen details zijn in het gebouw nog steeds goed zichtbaar. De ontvangst was met gratis ijsjes en op de kamer een doos chocolade en een kosteloos gevulde minibar. Aan het einde van de middag waren er gratis snacks in de ontbijtruimte. Dat was bijna voldoende voor een compleet diner. Het gebruik van de sauna was kosteloos. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, inclusief prosecco en talloze lokale gerechten.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel - sehr gut ausgestattet - sehr sauber - sehr freundlicher Empfang - unbedingte Empfehlung. Einziges Manko: Polizeibedienstete, die im eigenständigen Restaurant des Hotels aßen, versperrten mit ihren Fahrzeugen die Parkplätze der Hotelgäste - völlig unnötig und unverständlich.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Hotel. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden, entweder direkt am Hotel oder auf einem Parkplatz ca. 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Es gibt auch eine Fahrradgarage, in der man seine Fahrräder sicher abstellen kann. Täglich wird die kostenlose Minibar mit je 2 Wasser, Pepsi und Jever aufgefüllt. Dazu noch eine kleine Tüte Brezel und ein kleiner Pralinengruß zur Anreise. Die Lage direkt am Wasser und nur wenige Meter von der Fußgängerzone entfernt ist perfekt.

This is a wonderful modern and spotlessly clean hotel and a lovely place to stay in transit between Holland and north Germany. Overlooking the water with wide promenades outside the front door and an excellent restaurant - Pier 23 - integral to the hotel with a full choice menu. The rooms are generous, well fitted out with ensuite and walk-in shower and many with full views of the water. Helpful and attentive staff combine to make this hotel memorable.
