Booked to stay in Leek for a nearby wedding !!! Stayed at the Silk House hotel Nicholas and Julie were fantastic hosts , they couldn’t do enough for you . The accomadation was very comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee available in the rooms . The weekend we stayed was fantastic weather wise , so managed to spend a bit of time in the garden , enjoying the pleasant surroundings . The bar was extremely well stocked and Nicholas was more than happy to make his own choice of special drinks for his customers .

Helpful when I asked to change rooms from the noisey street-side room, still very warm on top floor. Disappointed in scratchy towels, telly with a line down it, was expecting much better for the price. Owner very friendly and chatty

Great location
Lovely building in a great location. No parking but street parking around the corner. Lovely bathroom with a huge roll top bath but not enough hot water to enjoy it, a shower would be more practical.

We had just the one night at the Silk House - and what a great night it was. Nick the owner was the most convivial of hosts and we had a great night in the bar singing, dancing and generally making merry. The room itself was quirky and comfortable although a little too warm. (Couldn't really open the window as it was on a main road). But otherwise a great stay! Thank you Nick!
